Is this thing coming out any time soon?

 

I just saw it coming soon beta i think coming to steam? trailer looked cool and i am intrigued.

I like the idea and seems, I say seems like it would be cool. But this thread was started in 2015 .... so if the money doesn't come in thru donation the game dies? If the game was worth it I would buy but I'm not donating money.

 

Is it subscription based?

 

no idea first i saw of this today when it was recommended to me on the corporatetubes, probably because i watch a number of space videos ranging from high level physics to scifi and star citizen of course .

never heard of it not sure what it will check it out when it hits steam though and see.

 

Top quality trailer,no banding ,just good clean looking game.Not my kind of game but
I may pick it up if it is cheap.

 

I thought this was going to be a single-player game. 4 years of hope for a good game just died, lol

 

well at lest from what i seen i not writing this off for a few reasons.

this is mix of NPC and PVP with objectives like escorting supply ships raiding bases. games will go on a day or few where players and drop in drop out work with other players or the npcs to take objectives or do missions.

and from what i understand it will have mod support so just thinking a battlestar galactica mod or star wars mod for this would be epic.

i keeping this on my radar for maybe a drop in play and have fun for a hour or two and drop out and have a life thing. unlike star citizen that likely i going to have free time to plan out and execute things in that game. and flying a viper around defending a battlestar vs cylon attack fleet? yes please. diasporia gives you a taste of that i should try and get that setup and working see if any good mission mods for it was like nothing when i played the very difficult campaign.
