No change for me using BIOS 1001 on Prime X370 PRO. Max for my 2 x 16 GB TridentZ F4-3200C14D is still 2933 MHz. I'm borderline stable with 3200 MHz. I can boot with 3200 MHz (using ProcODT @ 85 and -0.1 SOC, but as soon as I type in my password I'm getting a BSOD.

Got my RMA 1800X back. Old chip would do 4ghz @ 1.48V, new chip @ 1.25V. I wonder if it is luck or they are binning them better now?

    Isn't 1.48,V reasonably high?!

Thanks for the info, so 3600 is already beyond module specs yet stable, nice!

I've a G.Skill TridentZ 3000/C14 set (Samsung B-die) and been able to run it @3200/C16 so far at best. Keep it at 2933/C14 though as there wasn't any notable benefit from 3200.

AGESA 1007 where art' thou? :D

I guess there will be beta bioses with AGESA 1007 as well. The question will be, should you risk installing it, since it's such a major update, or wait until the final?

I agree. If the update is as big as claimed, it's probably safer to wait if they do release the official bios. I also agree that they may not release beta updates simply for that reason; it's potentially too unsafe to risk it.

Yarrr. I wasn't able to run the original at 4Ghz. 3.975Ghz would run at 1.35V though.

Hi there , 1.95v on ram it is very high and unsafe. Max safe voltage for DDR4 is 1.50v , i believe you are reading the wrong value. please download the latest hwinfo here: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/hwinfo64-download.html and check with that software. If you set 1.35v in bios there is no way it should be running at 1.95v unless something it's wrong or broken on your motherboard , please take a screenshot and post it here with hwinfo tab open showing the DRAM voltage to further help you with your problem.

    Kind regards: chispy

I'm glad Clouseau already did explain it very well , you are good to go and can push that voltage without fear until 1.50v on the Ram :) , also i'm glad it was a mistake and you did not actually pushed 1.95v to the Ram :D ...

I wouldn't do any tweaking until the next AGESA is available. This is assuming the rumours are true about the benefit they bring. It may mean we have to start the tweaking process over, but that's not a bad thing! I went back to 3333 from 3466 because it seems maybe touch better at that speed. It seems there is some kind of bottleneck which will hopefully be resolved with the new bios. I doubt I'll get 3733, my rated RAM speed, but 3600 would be nice. It's the next week on from 3466 which like I said, works but seems to give no real gain currently.

One question I have never seen asked or answered..

If this "Infinity Fabric", aka the bus inside the CPU connecting all the different parts of the CPU runs at half the RAM speed (Hence the need for faster ram) What is the maximum speed this can run at?

I'm not expecting it that soon either, probably not even this year.

Flashed the new BIOS to my Prime X370 Pro. No change in mem OC. But it looks like my ram latency went up by 10ns. Need to do some more testing.
