So Ive always been a high resolution guy. I used the Sony FW900 2.5 inch CRT with 2304x1440. People were amazed how I read things lol. I liked the extra real estate for music production.

So I bought pretty much one of the first Samsung 4k display 28" 1ms. I payed 703 dollars. A little while later maybe a month or couple months this same monitor was 350 dollars and they now had LED for about 400 dollars. I really got ripped off. Never buy stuff that just come out, prices will drop soon. Hope someone will learn from this and not jump on something when its out and new. Thank you

Nothing new here. Early adopters always pay the price. Same thing with every piece of technology that has ever been released.

Yep I think my 2x CD burner was about that price. How about $400 for a 60GB HDD. Still have that drive and it still works.

I probably have the biggest rip off of them all. I bought the Ageia PhysX card for $300.

Also a GDM Fw 900 owner. Currently looking at a 144hz asus and it does not compare to the Sony GDM.

It's like that with anything new in the market. Hardware, games, hell even regular stuff such as clothing etc.

Unless you absolutely NEED to buy something that just came out, just wait a few months.

Oh well, shouldn't jump on hardware that just comes out. You have to wait a bit.
