Display Driver Uninstaller Thread

    I located the file in the following location: C:\Windows\system32config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\DisplayDriverUninstaller\Settings.xml

    I think this location might be a mistake. I would think " Wagnard " would have wanted the location to be C:\Users\"User Name"\AppData\Roaming\DisplayDriverUninstaller\Settings.xml

    The " AppData " folder ( Will ) should change location with older Windows OS's.

    I will PM " Wagnard " and let him know.

    Watcher found the good location.
    Now you guys may ask why it is there and not on the usual user location. The reason is quite simple, DDU run as the "SYSTEM" user privileges.
    The location you found is the one for system.

    It is possible I may try to set this the usual way (on your actual user folder) in the future; but that's low priority atm.

    Latest version uninstall crimson beta driver for fall update without problems?, I'll come back to previous driver.

    I have fall update installed and autor recommend creators update not any higher version

    It works perfectly fine with the Fall Creators Update. I've already used DDU twice with the latest version of Windows 10 without any troubles ;)

    Known issues:

    -Issue: The Task scheduler cleanup of DDU is not working in safe mode with Windows 10 Creator update 1709(16299.xx).
    We are trying to find a solution.

    Workaround: do a cleanup in Normal mode after the one you did in safe mode.

    You're right, mate. I hadn't noticed this until last night when I used DDU to uninstall the latest beta drivers from AMD for the Fall Creators Update. I hope a fix can be found soon!

    yeah I was in front of my computer when I got an notification email, so I answered right away.

    Nothing really exciting to be honest. It's more a maintenance release.
