We can finally try it out the 29th, i'm pretty excited. My friend loved it on his PS4. Sure hope this game will survive on PC, been waiting for a new CoD game with WW2 theme sinds WaW. Never really was into the modern themed shooters, except for BF3 and BF4 they were good.
Well the PC beta pre loads are up. 3 days till it opens. Going to be interesting to hear the reactions.

Started to preload this also, really looking forward to it I really loved WaW and I'm so glad the 3D movement will be gone again soon No more flying around, just plain running and gunning
It would be amazing if decent Dev Team out there did a Next Gen Nam PC single player campaign experience. Love it so far! the PPSH is my favorite gun atm it's really good but has alot of recoil. The Garand seems pretty OP, it's a 2 shot kill. =/ it does have big recoil but still people seem to counter that easily. Got killed by it alot within seconds, no chance to shoot back lol.
Gave the open beta a download, I'll try it out. I haven't played a COD game since COD 2 on Xbox 360. I remember this vividly because I can recall being very frustrated at the PC version of the game was running like crap at it's time and I broke down and played an FPS with a controller on a console. Ironically, this is also called COD 2. Apparently after 12 years, I've missed nothing lol.
Just played it and it felt arcadish, visually also sub-par, it seems everything stopped by Cod Ghosts rest just small gfx touches here and there.. Imo it was missing atmosphere and lighting looked bland too Performance is good, im at 385.41 and it ran np maxed @ 2880x1620p dsr, didnt try higher though.. And it really needs 12GB ram, at one point I saw 11.3GB

Loading times feel like forever. I really dig the intro though. As Ghosts, I think the image is quite blurry?
Seems odd to me, i've been playing with high textures, my card only has 3gb of vram. Haven't encountered any crashes or performance issues.
I didnt find Ghosts blurry - TXAA and post fxaa made it though. This image above is with smaa 1x, filmic smaa 2x makes it even softer, I didnt have any problems with extra texture detail, even at 1620p, it filled ~6GB and ran good. Although I didn't enable fill extra empty memory with textures and sunshadows cache off.
Ok later levels look a bit better, I saw 4 so far. But there are a lot of disconnects or timeouts.. Very betaish
I like the game but why is the ping shown as bars, again? Had a host migration too. Bleh. I'm worried about cheaters when it releases. Let's see. I like the actual game though.
@tj: Guess it has to be AA then. I always used SMAA T2 in the last couple of titles and all of them were sharp. They either mess up textures, resolution scaling or AA, as it seems
Quickly played 2 and a half rounds ( half because it crashed on the 2nd round ). Runs great and plays like CoD which is what I was expecting but the maps feel even more confined than before. Will play more through the weekend to get a feel for it but a quick initial impression/gut feeling isn't all that great.
That's some great sprites right there............(looks much worse in game, especially while moving around)
