The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project v4.8

Good stuff, will update this weekend. After watching that 10year anniversary video I was reminded I have a lot of stuff to explore in Skellige then finally start Blood and Wine.

 

Gotta admit, it does actually look better. At first I thought it just looked different but I think it is an improvement on further inspectionnnss

I'm still yet to play the two expansions, not sure if I want to wait until I get 4k next year or go for it sooner.

 

The old square stonewalls looked better though the resolution was obviously worse.

 

I tried this mod but went back to the old one.It looks good but the first one covered everything I personally would've like it to, looks more natural or in line with the rest of the environment and architecture.

Still a great mod though.

 

hmm cant download the mod "An error occured" manual or with manager and i cant find the mod anywhere else, any thoughts on that?

 

Disable HTTPS everywhere and delete cookies. If you don't have HTTPS everywhere extension, then you can install Firefox or Chrome portable. But don't fear, portable is not gona really install, it just unpacks. You can delete the portable foder afterwards.

Thats what i thought...preferred the squareness of the stones but the water and waterfall looked great

 

erm all nice but i think author of the video is phishing with better recording quality for modded scenes and worse for vanilla, at least at 28:22

I dont like it on some parts. The water looks like cheap ice, are all rocks round ?, also the sharpening filter is overdone in some parts, and the water in swamps looks to straight now [fake] like in real swamp vanilla that looks normal.

 

the game isn't old enough to merit a retexture mod really. It looks amazing as is.

pardon me, after watching The Witcher 10th anniversary video. I ended up with my own mod.
It's only based Reshader 2.x (with heavy additional custom shaders (fx)). Nothing changed in the game's original files at all.
I don't know whether this worth to be share or not. But if you like it, you may send PM to me for the link.

 

Looks good. ¿FPS impact?

 

Of course i believe there is FPS impact.
But I didn't know how much it is, since when i playing this with my current oldies GTX 1080.... It always stable 60FPS (at 1080p and 1440p)
