I think you talking about driver bug, user settings are probably stored properly but not used by the driver. Clicking apply will not make driver use settings untill you change at least one value, this is bug. Doing reset and then compare makes no sense, values will allways not match and profile will be applied (unless you have profile with default values) I would change this commandline to one line: OverdriveNTool.exe -r0 -r1 -r2 -r3 -r4 -r5 -r6 -p0"0" -p1"0" -p2"0" -p3"0" -p4"1" -p5"0" -p6"0" @Tiba check your PM.
I was doing such reset and applying profile but I guess because of the beta blockchain drivers bug, it wasn't reapplying the profiles properly or not at all. Forcing a compare and apply did the trick, but for the 6x other cards, not the number 0. Thanks anyway for taking time to reply each time, I will give a try with some other drivers when/if available later.
In blockchain driver you can't open Wattman or use watttool, but if you install 17.8.1 you can crearly see if profile is applied or not, comparing values in wattman and OverdriveNTool. But if they are set but not used, it's driver bug. Doing reset + reapply profile should be trick for this bug, but i don't know why for one of your GPU this doesn't work. Is this card different than 6 others? PS If anyone wants to help me testing I2C support for new VRMs please PM me. I work on NCP81022 - it's used on some rx400 from XFX, and uP9505P - it's used on rx500 from MSI and others
Do you have a display attached to this card? All drivers since 17.7.2 seem to mess up settings for cards with attached displays for me.
can i set software to start directly on gpu id1 amd not intel id 0 ? and give me direct command to load profile 1 with id 1 card thanks
Hi, I have the blockchain driver. 6x RX480 Cards in the system all same with the same bios. I only change the P1 Memory voltage and regular profile gpu voltage to drop the core voltage. Setting applies to card 0 only. All other cards remain with the same settings, no voltage drop. This program only works correctly in the system with 1 card. Please fix for multi gpu systems. PS. not even with 1 card, voltage reverts back to bios Profile voltages. only P1 Memory voltage setting seems to stick...
Hi. use this: OverdriveNTool.exe -p1"Your profile name" P0 always revert back to defaults on Polaris. If you want to have correct voltage on blockchain driver disable all GPU Pstates except P7.
That problem can be fixed also by editing the Pstates in the bios. Main problem now is the 6x GPU system where I cannot apply P1 memory voltage state to the rest of the 5 cards.
Hello, First of all, thx you for your work tede Quick question, can you add Vega FE as supported GPU please ? Would be nice, if possible If not, well, it's ok too. Thx you !
I'm using this solely for tweaking my vega, works like a charm. Thanks for your work on this tede, very much appreciated.
Hello, I love your work, but I habe a problem: With the Blockchain driver I cant set the voltage correctly. The CPU and the GPU Voltage stays the same as bevor. With the Claymore 10 i can set them properly. Any idea? The Clocks and Fan work great. Thank you for help.
Drivers issue, you can fix this problem by resetting your cards before attempting to change the voltage. This is the only way I've found that it works almost perfectly with Beta Blockchain drivers. Note: must be resetted (-r command) then compared (cp command) and set by command line after claymore has been successfully launched and started mining.
Hello! MSI RX 580 ARMOR 4G OC (x5) Win10 x64 Power Supply: 2000W Fan_Target - don't work Fan_Min=750 Fan_Max=3000 Fan_Acoustic=918 Fan_Target=66 Claymore's Dual Miner: GPU0 t=82C fan=30% Why?
