Don't have such issue exist. Hence, I suggest you wait for the upcoming next WHQL on 25th August 2017 & if you still face the same issue 4th in a row, there's something wrong with your rig for sure.

Looks like they lost all the posts in this thread from Friday evening through early Monday morning. I know mine, and some responses, are gone.

Read the first couple of posts, there is a script running migrating recent content which will complete within the next 24 hours

Correction, the content posted in the past 48 hours is lost. For the new forums we started the database over the weekend. So sorry about that, but there was no way to bypass that.

Can anyone with Windows 10 Pro v1703 64-bit verify that Saints Row The Third works with this driver please? On my PC, the game loads to the screen which shows the auto save icon then promptly exits to the desktop. The odd thing is that there is nothing in the Event log so it doesn't appear to be a crash. This issue applies both to the DX9 and DX10/11 version.

I've revalidated the game cache twice, checked for any third-party DLL mods/tweaks (there aren't any) and even disabled the RTSS overlay but the game refuses to load. However, Saints Row IV, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell and the latest Agents of Mayhem all work fine so it is baffling why the older game doesn't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Installing, I get back to you when I tried to play it.

EDIT: Loaded into an old save game, no problem at all, game runs fine, so your issues is not 1703 nor he driver.

I don't own it, but almost all the YouTube reviewer owned GTX 1080 Ti & don't have such issue with them.

FYI, I'm using W10x64 1703 (15063.540) Furthermore, there's nothing wrong with W10 & so far the best OS! even better than W7 & W8.x too.

If seriously got this sort of issue, NVIDIA will definitely pull down the driver you mentioned.

P.S. Fill up your feedback form to NVIDIA.

So I just went into Settings and in the Gaming section, turned off all of the Game Bar, Game DVR and Game Mode sliders, rebooted and my games play like they used to on 1607/378.92!

Thanks for checking. The game crashes... or rather exits to the desktop, since there is no Event log error... immediately before the main menu appears so I'm not sure what could be causing it to crash at that point. Revalidating the game doesn't fix anything. I guess I could try uninstalling and redownloading it as a last resort.

Game Mode reserve some of your CPU cores/threads for "background tasks".
If you have no such tasks active when you game then it's basically a waste of CPU resources.
If you have a slow CPU (and you have an FX CPU which is very slow) then taking any resources it has from games is generally a bad idea.

hehe ;) 50€ CPU (AMD 8150 not new) I only activated the game mode to test in some games, but in my case it does not work well,For the reason you mentioned, I have to buy a better CPU
    Tks

Funny thing is, I've had Game Mode on since upgrading to Win10.
Only with the last set of updates to ".540" did it start messing up.
That along with putting my X-Fi in legacy mode, which was bound to happen at some point.

Anyway these drivers have been running WD2 and Witcher 3 pretty smooth for me.
    Excellent driver.

FYI, the Game Mode features started available during Creators Update.

I can't find any differences between on/off so I turned on until today & there might be some different but not significantly.

    Overall, nothing suspicious happened.

Regarding BF 1 & GTA V, I saw a lot people complaining & some people don't have issues due to different PC configuration.

Previously, I played GTA V before indeed has some latency, micro-shutter & frame time spikes, but still playable for sure.

Unfortunately, I didn't play BF 1, but you can improve your gaming experience by following @RealNC instructions
