omg... 1kW PSU requirement = the very last nail to VEGA's coffin

 

Why? it has 2x8Pin like many other GPUs (included mine Yet it has ~55deg. & Real tW at resonable ~150 ave. in Heavy Gaming)

Many of my friends have nV GPUs (1080, 1070, 980Ti etc. becouse it's "better" no matter what :bang: ) and they don't have G-sync, Why? Becouse good GS monitor has +200-250€ nV TAX lol
and in the end they said that i have better/similar gaming experience :007: + saved a lot of € CR !
Now i can have instant upgrade if i want to ....

I can Play smooth in any game with Free FreeSync ! at 500-600€ (GPU + 10Bit FS Monitor)

Long time ago (before 680GTX, nV has mind share on me also, but after all common sense wins and i've got 3GB 7970Ghz Ed and not overpriced GTX 680 2GB lolZ), mind share is not good at all -> for those who fall into it :nerd:

Well 1 review leaked early (and was shut down by amd), roughly 1080 perf, better synthetic/worse game p, runs hot as hell.

Yes and no. My issue is dx12 being horrible in BF1 for both companies it would make more sense on dx11. Also from what I read this was the only game where it actually was this fast. Tho it could give pointers towards future.

PS. Vega on average is better than Fiji in tW, even my Fiji is not absurd when Gaming (even on OC to 1120/565)

BF1 DX11.2 -> 1001/570 -42mV -12POW \ tW ~180 average at |70FPS stasis|
IMO Vega 3xAir will be ~140tW at easy 70 FPS (with my MODS, like Fury)
All Games at 1440p (Ultra where i can)

 

I know XFX. But most likely wouldn't get one, I've had their cards before. I don't even care for the power usage it's all the same to me.
