I am unable to run 3dmark vulkan test with 17.7.2, while it works fine with 17.7.1 beta...

it just not execute.

I gather you can also vote via the star (top right) on Radeon Settings splash screen in Relive edition.

Enchanced Sync on top of the list so looks like it's comming to more gpus

Overall I like this driver, no problems at all for a week. Although that may be because I don't use Afterburner since Wattman came in January and broke it.

Vote for Wattman save profiles everyone So we can ditch Afterburner once and for all.

 

As I said - they just wanted to have more time to prepare enhanced sync for older GPUs. Glad to see I hope they will put it into all GCN GPUs. Of course, I have voted for that.

I thought my 290 was broken, as I discovered one of the 3 fans (the one under the VRMs) hasn't been spinning probably for 1-2 years. But no, all chilly and nice, 75 degrees the gpu, 55-60 the VRMs and I get this error many times in a row.

So it's software.

 

Better vote for profiles then not. Afterburner is broken for 8 months now since 16.12.1 driver from December. MSI clearly doesn't care, so...

 

Erm, Unwinder, I don't like to overstep my bounds but seeing you talking like this isn't respectful of your position, not setting a good example there.... You are a moderator after all. Please don't step down to the same level of those that are condescending of your work, not everyone knows how much of a pain Wattman is causing and I'm surprised people are so happy with it, given it causes it's own set of problems alone...

Every time it happens it's the same story. It's like the first relive driver thread all over again.

Does opengl still work? How is the performance?
Regarding opengl I keep expecting AMD to: brake it beyond repair, destroy it's performance (even more) or just stop giving it support. Maybe all of them at the same time.

17.7.1 let me run Vulkan benchmark, not 17.7.2 .

but now, I completely freeze when I launch time spy benchmark, on both driver version...

My Fury has: Unlock CU + tMOD + vMOD HBM and Nano Power states 200/220/240

AB -> no one is working for my Fiji
TriXX -> only my Mod working

 

Worst driver for a very long time for me. Usually i have no issues with Drivers but this one is crashing on overwatch. Forums are full with people who have the same issue. Thats sad.
