    Spoiler.
(And that's it, game is at it's end, almost.)

Still a ton of collectibles and a few side quests but eh not a huge priority, one last bit of additional content and the game should be complete after that's finished.

Not a bad revenge story I suppose, bit much when it comes to padding out things in-between said story segments however doing the same repetitive basic tasks for taking each district but even with the backtracking they throw in where you drive halfway across the city it's over with pretty quickly, map looks big but it's not that large though aside from collectibles there's not really much to do with it either once the story is wrapped up ha ha.

EDIT: Overall visual quality is a bit of a mixed bag I suppose, sometimes the lighting can look pretty impressive even outside of scripted cutscenes although most of the time it looks a bit flat, temporal AA really helps with aliasing but it kills any sharpness the image might have had which is especially bad in still shots, definitively a fan of the animations and the combat ones in particular are really well implemented. (Though gun sounds are a bit weak or perhaps muted?)

Downsampling would help a bit I'd imagine at least for sharpness without relying on external shaders via say ReShade but performance is already somewhat mixed with frequent dips to the mid-40's so there's not much room for pushing resolution further, LOD and pop-in problems also exist but are usually not a huge issue in screenshots though distant objects do appear pretty flat and low-res if you try to go for city overhead scenery or other distant views but that's not specific for just this game.
(There's some dithering for the shadow effect too and minor light flicker due to something with the cloud shadows if I understood that correctly.)

EDIT: Hmm perhaps change the visible image to not Ronald Donald.
(Character models aren't exactly all that great besides the main player and key NPC ones after all and the reflection effect is kinda irksome even if it's a funny glitch.)

Witcher 3 (4K DSR, darker nights mod, reshade)

Hi all, first time posting here, hope I'm doing this right:

The darker nights mod really fixed one major gripe I had with the game's visuals, which was that nights were sometimes brighter than daytime, if daytime was heavily clouded/rainy.

Forgot to say anything... but, several months ago... my monitor decided it hated me, or life... or whatever. And, I maintain it committed suicide.
So, for a while, I was dropped back to an old stand by monitor at 900p.

Well, a while back I was given a 24" monitor from work... and just... never said anything. :)

So, decided to replay some stuff... like RAGE

    Dead Rising 4

(One of the shots is from the boss battle so spoiler warning.)
[IMG] [IMG] I don't think this outfit was ever intended for a male, but hey at least I'm not using the Cammy outfit ha ha.

[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] And the outfit used for much of the rest of the game once I found it, bit silly but eh, Dead Rising allows for some interesting clothing choices and this wasn't too bad heh.

[IMG] Wonder why this counts as a "special" some sort of shout-out perhaps? (One of the developers?)

Another game from the backlog, expect it to take a bit longer though but 10 hours isn't too bad I guess and then roughly one hour for the Frank Rising epilogue DLC. (Which brings back the timer people have a love/hate relationship with so you're going to finish it in 1 hour 30 minutes or less or fail.)

Still unsure why the game requires a whopping 65 GB for this though, the mall is certainly larger now and the surrounding city also exists but it's very small and there's very little to do outside of the main story although a bit of side content does exist beyond just collectibles.

Visually the scenery in the mall isn't too bad but the outdoor areas look a bit bland and the character models are a bit rough, free camera might be useful since the "cinematic" HUD doesn't work for the mobile phone view which has it's own UI elements, might be possible to get the shader for these via other tools though or some other mod or utility. :D
