A young man with a tattoo on his face reading ‘DEVAST8’ has said he is having difficulty finding work after being released from prison. Mark Cropp, from New Zealand, had been inebriated when his cell mate - who is also his brother - gave him the tattoo, while he was completing a two-year sentence in prison for an aggravated robbery charge. The tattoo was supposed to be small and go along his jawline, but after the pair drank an improvised alcoholic beverage made from fermented apples, sugar and bread, the mark turned out to be significantly larger. Looooooool.... http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...er-home-made-alcohol-prison-two-a7840356.html
He should grow out a beard as a start, that'd at least help. The fact he doesn't have a C.V yet is going to prove problematic also. That aside, given his age I'm sure there's help out there that he can apply for, It's a shame to see a kid like this, the prison system obviously works wonders. He needs to get his shat together and turn his life around.
make-up. Seeing as lots of women paint their faces in extreme ways, he could too. I wouldn't hire him though. Though I don't mind most tattoos, facial tattoos like that show extreme lack of judgement, too impulsive character and poor long term thought processes. Call me prejudiced
"Which one of these ex-convicts shall we hire?" "How about the one with a shaved head who has a tattoo on his face?"
Im fine with tattoos, i mean i have two, one on each arm and they´re visible when using a tshirt thats how tolerant i feel about this, but, for gods sake, facial tattoos are just dumb and asking for trouble. The face is the "human" part of the body, dont make a tattoo there!!
Somehow I dont believe him that his brother did it while inebriated. I think he's just trying to cover up for his stupidity. And yep, face tats are the height of stupidity. Search worst face tattoos on google images and be prepared to witness human stupidity at its ghastliest.
The aggravated robbery charge is probably hurting him more than the stupid tattoo. There are plenty of jobs where nobody cares what you look like. Industry, shipping, etc.
Currently removing mine (military requirement) and I am ****ting you not. It is on the top ten of the most painful things. The itchiness plus the blisters a few days after a sessions drives me NUTS! I've had 4 sessions currently using the new picosure technology. They are fading really well actually. I loved my tattoos, I really did, but I love my career more. This is for the UAE army btw to any vets on here who are a little confused. As for this twit in the OPs post. Like another said, it's probably the previous charge which is hurting him more. The facial tattoo is just the icing on the DO NOT HIRE cake. Who knows though, maybe he's learnt his lesson and might make something out of his life. Wishful thinking.
Yeah so ive heard, it hurts. I did my tattoos when i was 18 y.o. and at the time they sounded like a great plan but today i dont appreciate them like i used to do and find them juvenile (im 27 now). There must be a compromisse between the individual freedom and society norms. I other words, dont tattoo your face you freaking idiot. I have no regrets though.
Well, the kid was inside. So it was probably a case of 'we're gonna tattoo your face or..................'
