This is how Microsoft has acted for decades. This whole let's play nice thing is only because they've started to lose market share.

Here's some quick links for you to learn about MS

I discovered this a few years back, basically onedrive uses ntfs custom flags to keep track of files that need to be uploaded or downloaded or synced

since it cannot flag the files, it gets confused and re downloads copy's of them (file, file(1), file(2)...) then it uploads the file to the cloud, basically trashes your one drive cloud and fills up the space.

also some game patches utillize ntfs custom flags in a similar fashion

It appears to me it is owned by Mobile Nations, which is in turn part of Purch Group.

Even if MS has anything to do with it, they're way too far removed.

Nothing unreasonable here. Nobody should be using the anciant and **** FAT32 on any drive these days. It's error correction is not existant compared to NTFS. If there are any problems with the filesystem due to power loss or something else, you will most likely corrupt and lose *everything* on a FAT32 partition. NTFS has way more advanced error correction and recovery mechanisms. Stay the **** away from FAT32 at all costs!
