Only took them a year, but they finally got the website up : http://www.vampyr-game.com/ But here's hoping for a good vampire game, haven't really tried one since Masquerade bloodlines.
Those facial animations look rough! I hope they get better, but I won't cross my fingers since the game is releasing in five months.
The combat looks a bit janky but the setting and story are reason enough to pick this up when it's on sale, it's definitely not a £45 game IMO, I'll bite at £15 - £20.
Same devs as Life is Strange so I'm guessing the story for this is going to be very good. Also new Life is Strange series is confirmed. The original series is complete now, it is absolutely fantastic.... and I don't say that about many games at all.
Count me in as well, Remember Me is a real hidden gem! The combat system isn' that clumsy either, it just emphasizes timing more than Arkham style combat. The combo creator is great fun and neat idea!
It is not like theres got much rpg vampire games since Bloodlines.. I remember have replay it, sometimes ago with complete mods ( community is still alive and provide patches and complete redesign mod ) After Remember Me and Life is strange, i can imagine they have now a good money background to help and release us an even better game.
They've launched a behind-the-scenes web series and the first episode has been released on their channel; Dunno how many dev diaries they'll release, or for how long until launch. But I think its kinda neat.
Vampyr Episode 2 - Architects of the Obscure; Vampyr Episode 3 - Human After All; ....The game probably won't satisfy me the same way as Vampire the Masquerade (disclaimer: how could it, I've read the books and play the tabletop RPG with friends and colleagues. So I have a high investment into that universe.) ... But after browsing the steam store by the " Vampire tag ", there really isn't all that many (good) vampire games. So I've pre-ordered this one and I'm crossing my fingers and hoping its gonna be good.
