When benching (cinebench - corona - pi - ramspeed etc.) I can run 3200 MHz with 1.35V and normal vcore. But when starting a game it crashes almost instantly. So I push 1.4v to RAM and the games run for 5 minutes then crashes. I have to lower RAM to 3066 with 1.35v to be stable in any game.

    Ok... here is my 2centz

I've flashed the beta bios through the bios itself and a usb pen, The normal flash process did not work.

Many hours later, i have managed to get all 4 banks (32GB) running at 3333Mhz.
Granted only a handful of people have my ram modules so information was not existent.

    Settings:
    Enable DOCP Profile
    Set memory frequency to DDR4-3333Mhz
Set VDDRC SOC Voltage to 1.1500v (ASUS recommend no higher than 1.2v for 24hr operation)
    Set DRAM Voltage to 1.35000v
    Save and restart

I'm sure that i can drop the SOC and DRAM voltage a little more and will also test tightening the DRAM Timings a little.

So far, 3dmark, games etc are all working well after about 1 hour of testing. Regardless of voltages, anything higher than 3333 with my ram will fail post. No CPU overclock at the moment, everything else is stock.

    ^ good work!

I caved this morning and installed the beta BIOS for the C6H.

RAM now running at 3466 CL14, DRAM 1.4v, SOC 1.15v.. will continue to test to confirm stability then look to drop the volts where possible.

Good to know, I'm running: F4-3600C16D-16GTZR and ive been stuck at 2933. Ill try raising my VDDRC SOC a little.

    Beta Bios 0801 Update:

F4-3600C16D-16GTZ: was able to boot into bios only by manually setting the SPD ram timings. Had to fiddle with the back timings not listed on the SPD to get it to post (just the Twtr settings to be exact). Windows was not a go on any level. Heart beat is there so it is in a coma at 3600.

Appears with this bios 3200 is the new 2933. Was able to get the kit running stable at 3200 using the exact timings as the F4-3200C14D-16GTZ kit uses. Before was not able to run the 3600 kit stable at C14 and 2933.

Hears to hoping the final release enables 3600 and higher. As of now, I have the performance I paid for. The board was advertised to top out at 3200 and that is how it stands. Anything more is pure icing.

so 3466mhz needed 1.45v in the end which is a little more than i'm comfortable with, returning to 3200 at 1.35v for the moment.

    To quote Intel

    I wouldn't be comfortable running 1.45 either.

Agreed, an additional 8% OC is not worth frying my expensive (to me) RAMs.

I'm plenty happy with 3200mhz, which they have been running at since i installed them.

Has anyone noted faster post times with any of the most recent bios updates? That's the only thing left that I'd like to improve upon for my system at this point.

A cold boot with BIOS 0801 AGESA 1.0.0.6 (PRIME X370 PRO) to WIN10 login prompt takes ~ 10 seconds. Before that with 0604 AGESA 1.0.0.4a it took 20 seconds or more.

There is a new beta bios on Asus website, 0803.

I just checked and found nothing. Then I came here and saw this. But I see there is a new one under win 7 32 bit, but nothing under win 10 64 bit. I have no idea whether it matters which version you use. But since win 10 activation is tied to the BIOS, I will just wait for win 10 64-bit version instead of risking anything.

    Thank you.

I just did some hashing on a BIOS version 0612 for win 7 and win 10. They show the exact same hash value.

    EDIT

No difference in ram speed for me. Not able to run 3200 MHz stable. still tops out at 3066 MHz. Will try my 32 GB kit tomorrow.

Yeah i didnt see any difference either.
Ram is still clocked at 3200Mhz, can push it to 3333Mhz but its a little flaky.

Looks like there were no final changes, at least for my ram, between the last beta bios and the new final one.

Every month i get a little push so hopefully next month i can get all four banks running at their rated rates 3466@1.35v 16-18-18-18-38

Hey, are you running 4 memories above 2933MHz?
What type and configuration? I am looking to get 4* 8GB at least to 2933MHz, but if there may be kit capable to do more... :)

It was present on the 0801 bios and is present on the 0803 version. Disabling Geardown at the bottom of the ram timings list allows the CR setting to function as set. The OC @ 3.9 only needed a .03125 offset versus .05 without Geardown disabled.

Going to try the 3600 kit again with Geardown being disabled.

Asrock X370 Gaming K4 bios is out. I only managed to get the RAM at 3333 MHz no matter what the other settings. Hopefully one day I can make use of the 3733 even if it is with Ryzen+. Anyway, so good so far.

I noticed there are several new options in the bios besides the RAM settings and no information as to what they actually do.
