    Make sure LOD is set to off for higher detail (for some odd reason).

    High=off
    Low=On

    it turns off the level of detail switching system so it always loads the highest level meshes

    There's possibly a slight framerate bug with the game where you basically take more damage the higher the framerate is.

    Stuck at 60fps even though my monitor supports 70/75Hz. Is there a config file that i need to edit alongside with setting the ingame refresh to 70 or 75Hz?

    SGSSAA: 0x000012C1 - Metal Gear Rising bits

    Heavy performance hit though. Hopefully someone will find less intensive bits.

    has anyone tried TexMod? (eh, ill try it myself since its come to mind).

    Edit: Texmod works provided its run as admin, though it seems to not capture the entire image if using .png as the file format. .DDS is probably the best bet.

    imgur. com/oNVd0SV - xbox/PS3 controller screen

    imgur. com/1y6Y7KW - This texture is one of a few that is responsible for what seems to be fake adaptive ambient light that appears as a slow flickering or dimming light.

    Ironically, almost all, if not all of the cutscenes are pre-rendered videos (16 GB of them) so we shouldn't be seeing ANY framerate dips here as playing FMV is far less demanding than rendering 3D geometry/textures etc. :bang:

    Thing is we don't know what it's doing while video playback is happening, a lot of games use cutscenes to hide level loading so that may well be the bottleneck.
