Yeah, still playing on a regular basis. Tweaks coming in next patch 1.6.1 and maybe a gear score increase in 1.7.
Didnt they say the gear score wouldnt change anymore in 2017? There are only a couple of thousand players left anyway (on Steam) so i'm not sure they will do much to the game. DivisionII is under construction as well, that's where the money is going.
It's up for debate in 1.7 but no GS increase in 1.6.1. Consoles don't even get 1.6.1 because of MS/Sony certification.
I was actually thinking about playing it again but then - to what point? We know all the stories, we remember all the 'random' enemy spawns and waves and the chance of finding better gear is about 0.00000001 %. No thx. I'd restart from level 1 if somebody who just bought the game would ask me for assistance but that would be it.
Allrighty then, will perhaps hop back after patch(es) are out. If for nothing else then at least to check whether Ryzen CPU helps with Stuyvesant framedrops xD
The sound, graphics, and UI in this game were excellent. Gameplay was bland. They failed to quickly address many of the exploits/glitching that allowed people to farm high level gear and that ruined the game very early on. My group didn't know that you could spend hours every night glitching the same boss to get gold level drops. Very few interesting or enjoyable PVP battles in the dark zone. Hopefully if they make another one, they will focus on making the gameplay more enjoyable after the story mode is completed.
So 1.6.1? is live since 23th, I just got 3.5GB update on steam EDIT: DX12 stutter when moving across the map is now fixed. And all shadows work, there is extra gfsdk_shadowlib_dx12.win64. :thumbup:
I have got near 5 gigs of update for this 1.6.1 update (uplay version). The stutter is less frequent but stronger here also the game is harder on my machine ?? this with 382.33 drivers, rolling back, once again, to 378.92 whql Doubling the size of the backpack is great :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: This loadouts thing is very nice too ! Edit: double reward when killing a HVT here !! hoping you guys have that too
Guys, I am desperate for a new game at the moment. Would you suggest this game? How is it after the patches and is there still quite a community playing? Would I be only a handful of new players joining?
TBH I don't have any issues gameplaying, only on loading screens, gpu usage drops down 0% which affects loading time (and few seconds after which sucks,especially on L stand..). diasbling gsync = no issues....they have to coop with Nvidia for this bug. You don't have this issue you too..? It's visible no matter what, however if you use any fps osd you will see in numbers.. (or with afterburner which shows the real problem with gpu usage) This bug was introduced with 1.6.1 .
Yes, Division is a very good game with an active community, I've seen new players too a lot (recently started playing again). The game is a lot more playable now than before and technically solid. Ofc you have to like character building / action RPG style games. Combat mechanicswise Division is a cover-based third-person shooter and a solid one. Cover and gunplay is polished and satisfying. Just don't expect single headshot kills (as this is an ARPG, your weapons and enemies scale with level) This is what some reviews refer to as bulletsponge enemies but it's important to note this depends greatly on your character build and the level/type of enemy you're fighting. Enemies of higher level than you are bulletsponges because your weapons don't do nearly enough damage against them. Level and gear up and it's a different story.
Anyone else getting frequent CTDs since latest patch? W10 CU. Keep getting them in both DX12 and DX11 mode, with two different NV driver versions and with and without overclocking so doesn't seem like stability or driver issue. Edit: also nothing shows up in Event Viewer so unlikely a system issue.
Personnally no, also CU on win10, nv drivers 382.36 in my case i think it is these drivers that fixes it. Almost no more stuttering neither. Hoping you sort it out edit
