The artifacts on shutdown are fixed with this driver in my system.
The weird thing is that 3DMark considers this driver "not supported" when running a benchmark.

    I spoke too soon.
ICC profile bug is still present. Exiting GTA5 resets ICC profiles. :(

Another thread with the problem on Nvidia forum:

    https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1004748/weird-behavior-on-my-1080ti/?offset=2

I think it's happening with high res monitors (1440p+) and Windows 10 Creators Update? Tomorrow I will install old 378.92

    I managed to fix my Quake Champions problem. For some reason my colour setting had been changed to 16bit. I changed it to 32bit and now it's working, Bethesda.net is launching again. To recap;

    Bethesda.net Launcher doesn't work in 16bit.

How the hell do you even change color to 16 bit in Windows 10?

You don't. There was a wide-spread problem with W7 and Bethesda.net launcher. This was how I fixed my problem. Unfortunately, Quake Champions is off-line for a few days now.

    Thank you for other links.
I use in my monitor 144 Hz and 2k resolution. With older nvidia's driver - it is the same situation. But someone advised me to disable Fast Startup in Windows 10:

    http://winaero.com/blog/how-to-disable-or-enable-fast-startup-in-windows-10/

    - and second day I haven't this artifact when Windows is starting. Of course 2 days without this artifact it is too short time. I asked Nvidia about this problem - and now I'm waiting for their answer...

You wrote: "I get this when i cold boot". Try to turn off Windows and manually PSU - and wait 2-3 minutes and turn on PSU and start computer. In my case it does not matter - if it is "cold boot" or not. This artifact is present.

Has anyone with this tried to install the driver with just the minimum folders i.e.
    Display driver
    NV12
    PhysX
    EULA.txt
    license.txt
    ListDevices.txt
    setup.cfg
    setup.exe
I have a 3440 x 1440 AOC monitor and have never seen this fault and install only these files

Yeah I had that with the creator's update. Is fast startup enabled? I never got it after restarting the PC, only when booting with fast startup enabled.

Thank you, i will try to disable fast boot.
    For some reason the power
plan always revert to balanced. Always need to select high manually
(Darn, hope i don't need another reinstall, already did it twice this year. )
