Timespy defaults to 2560x1440... even if you have a 1080p screen it downscales it to 1080p but renders at 1440p.

    Woohoo!

Just ordered my evga 1080TI and due to a shipping snafu, I'm getting it for 649.99 US.

My luck it wont clock worth a damn.

I have a Accelero Xtreme III on my 1070G1 now, but the 1070 still throttles when my ambient temps reach 72f.

Anybody know what coolers work for this card(that will be better than what I have now), most interested in air but would consider water?

If water, is a full cover really best? I have an old D5 pump so I'm thinking something like a Ek block and rad.

Thats a great score then, like i say im maxing out at about 10550 now, voltage does not seem to help and temps are not an issue as im no higher than 42C.

EK block, a D5 and a 120.2 would be fine (and a res obviously). all the cards are hitting at least 2050mhz no issue before the power limit comes into play.

They had EVGA FE cards last night when I looked. As a Prime subscriber I was almost tempted to order one to get it sooner as I am off work all of next week. However, I decided to stick with the custom Gaming SC2 model as I have been really impressed with the cooling and quietness of my current GTX 1080 FTW and going back to a comparative hotter and noisier reference card would feel like a step backwards. Hopefully, EVGA will ship my SC2 next week. Fingers crossed.

Did some MORE testing, and sadly mine doesn't want to OC higher than 2050, it just freezes at 2050mhz. Current running stable at 2025, oh well i guess il settle here, the difference above it would be negligible in any case.

I posted a thread about shi**y performance in BL2 and BM:AC but that was down to physx drivers, but now I'm playing BattleField 4 and my FPS is ****ty in that too.

I was getting 120fps easily with my 1080 now I'm sub 90 with my Ti.... WTF is going on? Drivers???

You can get Strix at Fry's electronics in California. Walk-ins only though...

I'm getting 9699 here in 3DMark Timespy, not sure if that's good/bad for my setup.

Would be nice to break 10k but I kinda doubt that this card gets unstable above 2088Mhz... same with my CPU I could probably push it up to 4.8Ghz but I doubt that will add 300 points to my score.

Got the might Ti today to replace my 1080. Flightsims no change in fps, most games some improvement but not what I expected. Still cannot run GTA5 with all graphic options including the special section full on at 4k. Even at 2k had to dial back a few to maintain 60 fps (v sync on). But I can run more eye candy than before so all is not lost. Might oc it a bit to see where that takes me.

Yep, a very capable card...mine is game 24/7 stable 2100/12000@1.05v all day long stock custom fan profile cooled....after modding some capacitors benchable at constant 2139/2124 depending on the benchmark...
Here's how it looks like during UG Superposition 4k benchmark:

    Looks good man!
    How is the noise level.
Still dead silent under load ?

Ofcourse the ti deliverss more heat, so more heat cause more noise i gues.
But still no jumbo jet like others brands ?

Best way to test this is with unlocked fps, and 4k gameplay with everything maxed.

Witcher 3. Mass Effect, Metro Last Light redux etc etc.

Just got the Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti (standard and not the Extreme). Using Gigabyte OC software I am trying to get a mild OC with this card. The software has an automatic OC but when using that you cannot set a custom fan profile but it also has a User section where you can adjust GPU Boost Clock and Memory Clock but the voltage is locked.

Anyone here have this card and have OC'd using the software? Could use some numbers if you do.

Just use Afterburner, unlocking the voltage has no effect, ie it doesn't seem to effect the voltage even if you move the slider.

I have used Afterburner in the past but want to use the Aorus software. It does about the same thing and is more card specific. Just looking for some good numbers to start with.
