not saying you dont, im sure you do, but, latest build, 16170 working with latest drivers only game tested has been ESO, but i did test haven and it ran very well at 4k ;)

eso i get around 40-55fps at 5120x2880 i lower that since in towen everybody drops to **** fps....and in swarms of people.....

cannot wait for vulkan/dx12 to come to heroengine in a way that will remove the rendering thread bottle necks...(That plague all mmos)

For me too, well I played only RIFT and it was sooo smooth I couldn't believe it. Usually it has a small hickup here and there, like a latency jitter - texture streaming glitch, but nothing with these r381.

Im still on RS1 though, learned my lesson once with early leaked TH1 or was it TH2 update.

Vulkan is not working for me with this driver, i get <insert exe name> has stopped working everytime.
Tried it in Dota 2, 3DMark and Doom.

Known issue or isolated case? Any workaround?

vulkan is confirmed working on dota 2 but judder, shuttering & glitches.

MG pm-ed able to reproduce the issue but can't give any ETA regarding the fix.

at least they found the glitches i mentioned.

if Dota 2 the best performance for my side is using -dx11

i don't have 3DMark but Doom (vulkan) no issue.

Apparently it don't like me overclocking my monitor refresh rate. If i oc to 70z with CRU then Vulkan will stop working.

Doom works fine for me with this dirver with Vulkan, except (like with any other driver) it uses my GTX 1060 instead of my Titan X for rendering which is way slower even though no monitor is connected to the former. I don't have any of the other Software. Try using Display Driver Uninstaller to clean the system then reinstall the drivers.

Problems in Planet Coaster with lighting.
Back to 378.92 and all is fine with the drivers!

Planet Coaster also reset my PC without warning with these newer drivers, it usually just hangs the task if it crashes. I've had problems with this game since January eek, but that's another matter...

This "creators" update broke custom refresh rates in games. My desktop is at 1440p 75hz but when in game, refresh rate reverts to just 1440p 60hz.

Never had this problem with anniversary update.

    Any fixes for this?

Gaming @60 fps rather than 75 fps is so annoying that I'm considering to revert back to the anniversary version.

Hopefully, Nvidia can immediately release a driver that solves this issue.

did u use game mode? i set it on. try toggle around.

CRU can mess up your refresh rate too.

Bethesda needs to fix that, they aren't setting the adapter binding.

geek3d vulkan tests demonstrate that adapter selection works correctly on nvidia drivers.

After another DDU+reinstall, CRU is working fine and i'm good at 70hz but the moment i activate Vsync it will revert back to 60hz.
Tried with game mode on and off, same problem. I tried with previous driver and it work perfectly fine. Not sure if it Creator update related or WDDM 2.2 driver related.

I didn't say that the GSOD was related to the driver itself, but i thought it was interesting that i had my first GSOD this fast.

I already had the driver installed when i upgraded to 16170, now i've reinstalled the driver using DDU. Everything working ok so far.

I was lazy to post. Exact same issue, Asus GL502SV with GTX1070, says graphic card did not find compatible nvidia product.
    Buggy driver.

PS: And I also have the same issue of boot, black screen 15 sec, then PC restarts itself. On Desktop GTX1080.

So does 3Dmark. The Vulkan API test does the same thing. It selects the secondary GPU versus the primary. I've read of AMD users having the same issue when using mixed GPUs. When using the GPU caps viewer, it shows my 980Ti as the primary device, vice the 1080 Ti. So no, detection does not work.

Yea, seems like these might be keepers. Colours are a bit washed out though.
