Err no you made a crappy comparison against a £1000 cpu. End of story. Not my fault you have comprehension issues. Reason I made the "high" comment was in reference to your inability to understand simple equations. It sounded like someone who hasnt yet graduated. p.s nice username sound again like someone who doesnt really have a clue what he is on about.
Greate that's fine by me. Didnt I ask you nicely to piss off pages ago? Glad your brain has finally kicked in and I have zero interest in talking to you anymore. Shame on you for being a Canadian. But like all good countries it has it's good and it's bad. Modify post? That's how I know you talking ****....it's called correcting ones grammar. Get back to school kid.
WTF? How can you argue so much yet not have a clue? AMD GAVE Mantle to the Khronos Group....it BECAME Vulkan. Its neither a success nor a failure....it simply is still in development.
Oh... let them play. I always get a kick out of the opposing sides posturing. I'm feeling very mellow having acquired a 1080 Ti for cheaper and quicker than I expected. Pure luck and a random tip on Disqus saved me almost $100 all together.
... uhhh ehh yeah... to say the least. Damn, that's a really good deal up front. Not bad at all... 100? How'd you pull that off at brand new retail... that's awesome.
What I mean was, the GPU was still listed at $699 but, I got the combo discount, the Evga power link, the Ghost recon game and no tax. $721 to the door. Delivery scheduled Friday. i was getting annoyed with the difficulty in finding a EVGA FE to complete my build. Sorry for the OT.
Just confirmed order of these two CPUs.... based on....Great review, HH I can have some nice Vega card with saved money
Your numbers are correct: Now look for an AM4 motherboard, you can go with an Asus Prime B350-Plus for around 100€. That's a total of 465€ for an AM4 platform. On Intel side, if you want to overclock you have to go Z270. Cheaper Asus mobo is Prime Z270-P for 125€. That's 375€. So ok, the actual difference is 90€. But comparing a workstation CPU that can game with a CPU that will be obsolete in 2 years time just for 90€ difference? Not a hard choice for me. :stewpid: Oh right, he just bought one so... Mitzi76 is a really annoying butt-hurt fanboy...
ouch... but I already ran Zen ARMA simulation in my head. So even without becnhies, I knew it would do bad in pig-cpu scenarios
yep, I just bought one because I use my rig for gaming 90%+ of the time and it's a better gaming cpu. Hope that's not a problem.
Not the best game to generalise because it's fairly low on core usage but yeah, that is night and day, even the ancient intel is totally spanking the Ryzen. That 6700k at 4ghz is almost double the fps of the 4ghz Ryzen, wow. While most games will utilise more threads, Ryzen is still a good way off i7 in games. When it comes to rendering and compressing and whatnot, I'll wait the extra minute or two, no problem. I'll take that over a big performance hit in games.
A lot of things look wrong with CPU utilization in this video. Specifically Ryzen seems to be almost stuck in 1 core usage.
