My Firestrike scores dropped too, while Time Spy scores have become better. Seems like the DX12 optimization comes at the cost of DX11 worsening.

Noticed the release notes now simply say OpenCL 1.2 is supported whereas the earlier drivers said it was "evaluation support"

lol I lost 2fps on avg by DeusEX MD

now 67fps, before think 376.xx driver 69fps on avg, min and max stayed the same.

EDIT: ok I checked nvcpl profile and it was set to adaptive, now I0ve set prefer max perf and threaded opt. on and got avg 67.8fps..

Gained 100 points in Time Spy, lost 100 in Firestrike. Better try some actual games.

Hmm but the guru3d review used a 5960X ; perhaps a CPU not as powerful would show more gains?

Ashes of the singularity got a 30fps boost for me.
Rise of the tomb raider is also boosted by almost 10fps.

Installed fine and seems OK so far.

I noticed they slipped in some new audio device/driver called "NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)" along with the usual HDA driver.

Rise of the Tomb Raider dx12 mode seems about the same, but I haven't dove into an extended play session.

Sniper Elite 4 dx12 mode doesn't work for me, even with previous driver. For some reason the game uses low quality textures even though I have Ultra set. (Works fine in dx11 mode.)

I don't think that's new (unless the installer is doing something different with it now). I see the NvVAD folder going back to at least 350.12. I always delete that folder (among others) and audio through HDMI still works just fine. Anyone know what that is supposed to do?

I have no way to measure really but BF1 seems good with these, very smooth so far.
Didn't try Dx12 and being others with 1080 don't seem to get improvement, I probably won't bother.
I cap fps to 100 and its relatively flat line, with just some dips here an there (as good if not better than 378.66 but its hard to measure MP).

Downloaded the drivers from guru3d and installation failed. Downloaded them from nivida and installation went smoothly. Reporting for anyone who has installation problems with the files provided by guru3d.

    My observations in BF1.

It was a stutter of a mess on joining! I had to reduce my memory clock from 5599 to 5500 (5550 might be ok) and my GPU boost up +10 to get to the old stable boost speed of 2050.

It is now as smooth as silk, also latency feels faster when aiming and the CPU thread usage on my CPU has increased noticeably as well!

    edit: With DX12
