Game is released at 12.01 tuesday 14th on steam. It's looking pretty good from what I have seen. Reviews seem solid and the WWII aspect has made me pre order it! I know...what a plonker hey, but I have faith in this one.

Watched a video of it and seemed cool. I've never played Sniper Elite games before, do they get boring/repetitive after a while?

Ofc that's very subjective. The campaign is pretty long I understood?

Game looks and runs great in 4K dx12. The YouTube videos make it look worse for some reason.

I played this game yesterday for about three hours, just taking in the scenery and exploring the opening level while taking out enemy soldiers and blowing sh!t up!!! Such good fun! :D.

While the game's engine is not exactly cutting edge, I think overall the game looks very nice except for some rather obvious 2D foliage sprites when looking through grass with the binoculars. Hardly a game breaker though. The weakest aspect of the game IMO is the poor (by today's standards) anti-aliasing as there's no temporal option. Also, shadows and foliage can look somewhat shimmery in motion (again, due to the lack of a temporal filter).

As a sequel, it's good with better stealth mechanics and A.I. over Sniper Elite 3. The game still feels quite unique for a WWII game. Also, the gun sound effects are absolutely fantastic as are the death cam/X-ray kills which just never get old.

At 4K with 110% res scaling the shimmering goes away and in dx12 multi gpu stays well over 60 :)

This is the perfect co-op game :D I played part.3 with a friend and we had such a blast! Did 2nd one solo though and it was quite decent. They say this one is closer to 3 than 2 so, co-op all the way :)

Apparently it's even less linear now than before with huge open areas, and you can either choose the stealthy approach or the rambo approach so no, I don't think that it's repetitive :)

Sounds like fun then, I'll probably pick this up sooner or later. I have Sniper Ghost Warrior but that's bleeding boring to me. This looks a lot more enjoyable.

Eyed those as well actually while at it. Btw do they run fine for you?

Numerous Steam reviews (yeah Steam I know right) said eg. SE 3 just won't run with Win 8 or 10.

    Is that accurate to date?

At least it has variety - monster bosses :p . Voice acting and few parts looked a bit so so, but in coop it can be fun!

Well that's if you into zombies lol

I bought NZ1, NZ2 and then trilogy (NZ Army) and all work ok :)

I played SE 3 on Windows 8.1 with no issues at all. I also just fired it up on Windows 10 a few minutes ago and it seems to be fine there too.
