Perhaps Nvidia just cannot optimize its drivers further for RE7:banana:

Because, you know. The Demo ran horribly without drivers. I'm sure drivers is on it's way, but i see no reason to rush them either since the game already runs well.

Probably similar to AMD having profiles ready months in advance for certain games, for Nvidia it's probably pretty easy to check via say NV Inspector if there is a existing profile for the game already.
(EDIT: Goes for Nvidia too if that wasn't clear, pretty sure one could dig up a number of as of yet unreleased games via existing drivers and their game profiles.)

Even when there have been existing profiles though there's been these "Game Ready" driver releases so it's possible there's room for further tweaks (SLI scaling tweaks for example.) or just more fixes in general. :)

EDIT: Any other "AAA"-type game being released soon? For Honor is out in early February I believe and Ubisoft traditionally works with Nvidia so that might see a driver release.
(EDIT: Seems the release date for that was February 14th, not February 4th.)

  6. The game have got many Nvidia's graphics features and settings (if you've played the demo) , and I think that is stupid from Nvidia don't make a game ready drivers for it

Didn't the demo have an issue with HBAO? Did that ever get resolved by Capcom, or was it a driver thing? If the latter, that's probably why I could see someone asking about that. I've long uninstalled the demo, or I'd check.

What if there's nothing to fix? Game Ready drivers are usually as "game ready" as any previous driver of the same branch.

They did release a patch for the demo mentioning this:
Game now works on CPUs without SSE4.1 functionality (e.g. AMD Phenom, Intel Core2 series)
    Optimized HBAO+ performance
Fixed an issue that caused the screen size to change when switching from full screen to windowed mode.
In-game purchase button now correctly links to the full game store page.

No sure if it was fixed or not since it already ran well enough on my 1070.

Also i believe if Nvidia release a game ready driver, it will be tomorrow.

Relax. They will release it soon enough for sure. Do you think nvidia will miss an opportunity for free marketing?

Performance was horrible, they improved it in a demo patch, but didn't fix the HBAO+ Ghosting[IMG]

I actually skipped PC this time and got this for PS4, Not sure that I'll like it is the main reason. I'm one of the folk to liked RE 4, 5 and 6. Not sure about the original cast being cut out of this, and the adventure game approach. We will see.

If I don't like it..it goes back. I don't have to feel rushed like steam refund or anything.

Really they just tagged it as RE7 imo to sell it. It's really it's own universe within RE.

PS4 and Xbox One run it at 60 fps ... I'm sure most of us would be able to at higher settings lol.

Tried the demo 2 days ago on old 375.63 drivers and it seemed to run extremely well. Cranked everything up to max and had gpu power left to apply higher res scaling.

Textures close up kinda sucked but that's the games problem not nvidia.
Not sure if the performance was due to vram restrictions on the 980 because it chews through over 5GB of vram at 1080p with 1.5 res scaling here.

  19. Isn't completely true, are several weeks that there are not new drivers, only are published hot fix.

As you can see, there are many users that have some issues:

And is only a little example
