Ubisoft has announced a free weekend for Tom Clancy’s The Division. In addition, the French company has just released a new update for the PC version that adds official DX12 support to it. ... Tom Clancy The Division - DX12 patch
i have to put ubisoft emails as spam they send me so many trying sell me games last one was assasin creed 3 it was free but on uplay i played the game long time ago anyway and i dont like your crappy uplay service , ubisoft have been selling games from hyped up game tailers getting the pre orders then when the game comes out its half finished then release 5 million patches to try fix it now there gonna give it away free get people download it then hopefully buy it, why not get rid uplay put games on steam or gog games , finish the complete game and test it properly before you release it
Install size or lengthwise? IIRC about 40 GB and so far personally put 185 hrs into it which is a record for me and still going. The actual campaign/story can be finished in about 20-30 hours I think if you ignore most side ops. Though it's the end game which I've found most addictive (most of my playtime is from that).
Division has no fps locks or whatever on PC, has a bunch of tweaking options and runs just fine on suitable hardware. Stable too, apart from some server connection lost issues.
I'd say it's probably the second best looking game out, BF1 being the first. I get that ubisoft "downgraded" it, but graphically it's still excellent, runs really well too - has since launch. My only problem with the game was the end-game content.. there was nothing to do when you hit max rank. From what I read the most recent patches/expansion remedied that.
Only this PC port is actually good and nobody has paid them extra to implement a DX12 port that they didn't have to do in the first place. The game doesn't look like its E3 trailer, and you have a point there, but it's definitely not a bad port and not even a bad game. I tried the DX12 port for a second after a long time of not playing the game, it seems faster to me, but I could be wrong. A test from Hilbert would be nice.
^ it is faster for a lot of people it seems, me included, on both NV and AMD hardware. People already reported on PTS they got better performance from DX12 (was part of 1.5 patch testing).
Graphically I think it looks great. People complaining about 30fps lock, bad port etc clearly haven't tried it, and simply follow the herd who hate on ubisoft. Haven't tried the DX12 patch but the latest survival content has me hooked again. My only gripe is that they could still have improved SLI support which doesn't exist to me.
its just your opinion if u think ubisoft make good ports then go try some other devs games go look on steam game and player statsitics ubisoft dont even have a game in the top ten and watchdogs 2 just out , rust is in top 10 little game beating a big coporation like ubisoft so funny
Agree criticism towards Ubisoft is well-placed in general but this game is a positive exception. I'm as skeptical of Ubi games as anyone but credit where credit is due, they really nailed it with Division. Execution, gameplay, everything. Provided you like this type of game ofc.
