    Hi,

I am looking at these 2 monitor and couldn't make a decision between P279q with higher refresh rate of 165hz vs X34a with 100hz but slightly higher resolution, Will i notice the differences between 165hz vs 100hz or should i just go with the higher resolution screen? I don't usually play Fps game but i might do if i buy the 165hz screen.

Btw my Card will be Titan Xp.
    Cheers

    Hi,

I personally had to ask my self a similar question.
I had Asus PG278Q 144 Hz when I got my Titan XP.
    Now I own a PG348Q 100Hz.
I was thinking about 144 vs 100 but in my case I am happy with anything above 70 fps in games.
Considering the fact that you want a Titan XP, I would say go for the ultrawide resolution.
My games are smooth even with just 100 fps.

Many thanks with your input Circus2050, Do you have any trouble with some game scaling in ultra wide?
I really like the look of pg348q however i'm do not want anybody see my pc desk as a gaming desk so that's why i opted to go with Acer as it look more subtle.

I have no issues with the ultra wide rez scaling.
Some games will not fit the cinematic videos on the full screen but it's not a big deal.

Have the Asus ultrawide 100Hz and love it. After 85Hz, I can't really tell the difference.
