This will be quite a big test for EK customer support. I'm curious to see how long it will take them (if they do compensate for the damage) or what kind of excuses they will use (if they don't).
I have just received Titan number 2  As for EKWB,I have an RMA opened. I will mail them the Predator and the other EK parts tomorrow. After they investigate I will know if they will refund me for the EK order. They will look at the damaged parts after they finish with the Predator. I will have to send them these parts as well. As for compensation, if there will be any, I will know after they finish their investigation.
Hmm I wonder, did you pay for the shipment of those goods to EKWB? Because that will cost some money too... I guess they'll refund the Predator, but I also hope you get compensated for the hardware, because if they accept the Predator leak as a manufacturing fault, they should also realise your hardware wouldn't be broken without the leak...
Well, the cost of sending these parts via postal office is nothing compared to how much I have spent these days.
Yeah, that I can believe, but still it would be the 'right' thing to do on EKWB's side if it's a manufacturing fault.
Fingers Crossed I would imagine once inspected they might refund you the charges. Who knows. Be interesting to see
I have shipped the EK parts today. I guess it will take a few days until they receive them and investigate. In the meantime Titan 2 is great
yea, but Titan 1 has been honorably discharged. It's sacrifice will not be forgotten. It went down with the sunken ship like a true Titan
Oh boy... costly hobbies we have Will take some time until you'll know from EKWB, at least you'll be able to play in the meantime.
I have a reply from ekwb. The predator was faulty. They will pickup my damaged parts on September 22.
No cash yet, I think they want to see the damaged parts as well and then we will talk about the compensation. I might test that "2 titans per customer" policy from nvidia since I can use the DSR in most of the games now to play at 4K on my Asus PG278Q Scratch this, 4K DSR adds blur and I don't like it.
Nice, in theory they should pretty much refund the damage as well, if they already acknowledged their faulty product that caused all the mess. Still, good luck.
I have a reply from ekwb. They will refund me 1293 euro for the damaged parts. This covers the price of the titan but not the mobo/cpu. But it's way better than nothing so I am happy
Well that's not really what the faulty product made in damage... not really sure I'd be as happy as you, but if you're fine with it I guess I should congratulate
Hi there Not sure if I would be happy as you,but agree its's better than nothing I'm on same boat, but no damage to my parts, just EVGA AIO pump decided to die .. I'm done with AIO or CLC kits too Thanks,Jura +1 But as above he said, better some payment than be without the money Its bit sad and I expected something more from EKWB Thanks,Jura
Sorry to hear you have water problems as well. Maybe these water solutions will get better over time. Until then good luck to everybody that has one of them in their system. I am still using my corsair cpu aio, at least these are more reliable.
