2K Games has revealed the official PC requirements for Mafia III. PC gamers will need at least a modern-day quad-core CPU with 6GB of RAM, 50GB of free hard-disk space and a Radeon HD7870 or an NVIDIA... Mafia III - Official PC Requirements
Had my Collectors Edition ordered for months now. This is the game I have been waiting for the most this year I think.
How is the equivalent of a 960 put in the same list where 290x and 1060 exist? Those are substantially better cards in the recommended list than the 780! Could they have meant to say 980? Because that would sound about right. 480, 390x or 980, 1060
very lame details it would be more helpful if they added the screen resolution and the graphics preset u can play on said specs also they should be listing which drm it uses if it requires an always online connection if its digital download or also avaliable on disc and how much of the game is on the discs
Wasnt 780 on par with a 970? If that is the case then those few fps isnt that much of a massive difference.
Maybe at the release of maxwell but today 970 edges out even the 780ti. Kepler isnt doing well this days while 1060 offers some nice performance. 780 should not be anywhere near close.
Why is almost every game 50GB+ nowadays? RotTR is only 20GB. I always read it is because of audio. Don't they compress audio anymore? Time to buy a 1TB SSD. And as kinggavin said in the requirements they should specify for which resolution and FPS.
780 was once a competitior to 290X so they got confused not knowing difference now is pretty big. 1060 or 480 sounds more reasonable for a recommended.
Then you better not look up the price of Forza Horizon 3. Even I am shocked at the price and I buy just about every new game...
Square Enix games are priced right in my country, as for this game it is priced same as GTA V which is insane, i didn't mind paying for GTA 5 as its worth for the content but this game for me is sitting on fence for the purchase, None the less i have pre ordered it anyways.
It's true that Kepler has fallen behind in modern games but there are still a few where it's doing well. Battlefield 1 Beta for instance. On a sidenote, Geforce.com's article about Mafia 3 system requirements don't mention the 780 as recommended. Nvidia obviously wants to sell shiny new 1060s:grin:
fx 8350 is even slower than the 2500k listen in the minimum. We'll see the benchmarks when the game is out.
