Not everyone can run TS, what about a FireStrike Basic score?

    Cheers, and best run?

    Only scoring 18500+ with my GTX1080. :(

Need some stronger HW, waiting to see what Kabylake can do before making a decision.

Will try my best when get back home from holiday. Your GPU score is great should be somewhere over 2200 core speed... What is your best Ultimate run?

Just got my Cpu+mobo setup last week, tweaking it with this COMNPLETELY different motherboard options and setting/tuning. I'm waiting for software to boot up my first 6800k @ 4.6 ghz 127fsb*36 (all 6 core clock) watersetup. Currently maxing my temp on the cpu @66 temp max.

I had no idea how much these x99 boards give you so much voltage control just about on anything that needs some sort of power with this new broadwell flexibility. Especially with this AIR 540's cooling ambient temp. It's almost 29C. Are their any software settings that really make a difference to REALLY make a difference to benchmark scores?

I think I brroke 3d mark with my OC! LOL Look at my system spec it says I was running my 1080 core @ 2678 core!! LOL MY CPU OC doesnt even register correctly as well! lol I am running at 36 clock by 126fsb no turbo! lol!http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/14725960
I get a 33% OC on the cpu which 4536mhz and 3200 mhz cache speed with ddr4 @ 3360 xmp. Gonna burn this in if it sticks. Anywho the gtx 1080 was at 100+ and 625+. (2126 core with throttle to 2114 53C full load) Not even over 8000 3dmarks on TS. :( The gfx card is going back to 105 465 as I get the best score with it with all of the ranging around finding the sweet spot that I've done. I get an avg of 25 fps on the CPU Test, which was a heck of alot better than 13 with an OCed 9370 @ 5ghz.
EDIT: Here is the bench without pushing the card to 2139 b4 throttle. It is not stable in Project cars at 8k for longer than an hour so I dont bother with it . Also for some reason 3dmark doesnt record an OC to broadwell correctly. I am no longer running at 3400 stock as it reports. I am set and verified with CPU-Z that I am running 36clock * 126fsb which puts me over 4.5GHZ. I do have turbo disabled so that reported correctly, but it could be misleading if anyone looked at the score as it shows the stock speed some reason.
    http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/14726800

DOUBLE EDIT: Here is the score with bumping up the cache speed to 3400mhz. NOTICE: The report shows 0 MB of memory and incorrect processor speed again.http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/14727131
Interestingly enough, Fire Strike reports much more accurately although turbo is disabled and the 3dmark reports my actual constant speed as turbo speed. This is my old setup of amd 9370 asus gtx 1080 non reference but not Oc model vs this new Intel setup and FTW 1080. Quite the upgrade for me.http://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/9839644/fs/10100095# Woohoo 15th place for cpu and (1x)gpu in the same catagory.

This is with a linear curve set in EVGA precision X. I tried the new AB but I cant stand the purple OSD color when and if it ever comes on display. I change the color to white and it never changes. Thankfully the server error is fixed as well.. but for some reason, this card OCs well, but does throttle very early it seems.

Mine will bumb down 13mhz at 54 C. And another 13 at 56 C. But I figure this BIOS was made in mind of the crap AERO cooler. Probably should flash it at some point. Doesn't really feel necessary though.

And I totally agree! I feel if it gets to 70C it should throttle I guess. Maybe small bumps incrementally from 60 to 70. Nvidia sure was scared of keeping 7.2B transitors cool with such a smaller die size. I think if my card can stay and run @ 2126 until at LEAST 55C, I guess I could live with it. But I amk getting bumped back to 2114 @ 48-49C.. So unfair.. I wish I could get throttles to sart at higher temps like you guys. This card doesnt usually get hotter than 54C under heavy load/usage.(99% GPU usage, 92-103% power, 1.08-1.094v)

Get back home...FS new drive and some OC.

But if we were fighting some LOD biased results here you are 24/7 air set...

Are you using the lastest precisionX (6.0.6 released yesterday)? They added overvoltage and overboost functionality.

I actually updated to it @ midnight. Oddly enough, I cannot enable the two settings. I am on the "slave" Bios switch to get the extra 10% in Power. maybe that might be why I can't select it? Or is the FTW ACX3.0 not a card that supports the feature?

I think I hit my limit on my CPU, but I was able and still testing the cache overclock. Every upclock at a time is giving me very good results in benchmarking. increased results have now improved my maxed 8050 bench on timespy to an incredible 8133. I am at a cache speed of 126.3 x 28 =3536mhz. The stock was 3100mhz. This has been my highest score yet. http://www.3dmark.com/spy/419746

And of course FireStrike is giving great results as well, with a score of 20550. http://www.3dmark.com/fs/10100095

My core speed is 2164 to 2151 thats the reason for 1.5 to 2fps better FPS instead of 2114 or 2126 and possible throtlling.
Your CPU is very close to mine...that was the reason to leave my old 5820k instead of some 6800k's tested...100mhz makes them equal but ~1ghz Uncore difference makes them almost the same clock for clock...

ahh OK! That makes sense now! In your profile specs, the GPU is posted with different speeds! So you are using the BIOS posted earlier? Did you do any other modifications like maybe a better thermal paste? What are your temps?Just to verify, that is with stock cooling correct? If so you got yourself a golden chip there! And there is absolutely no reason to go to broadwell if you can get results like that! Are you saying that your cache runs over 4000mhz? Thats pretty good compared to this cpu as default is 3100 and all I can squeeze out safely is 3500mhz.

Yes in my profile are 24/7 auto fan specs...bench frequencies with maxed fans are different...
Best results with some 6800k were in 4.5 range but with uncore less than 3.4...My 5820k is not golden but runs 24/7@4.4 uncore and close to 4.6 with less than 1.3 volts...
This was best achieved with 6800k
    [IMG]

You can check Cinebench thread also not to mention voltage and stability at all even though this is the best optimezed task for them...
And here's what 5820k does just using it one multiplier lower for 24/7 and less voltage
    [IMG]

Edit: Managed to upload the result just to compare with yours my CPU is as the settings above 4660mhz 4410 uncore 3050 cl14 ram

Thats a solid result. Can you explain in detail how you are achieving such a great OC with your gfx card? I'd like to possibly try and replicate the results, unfortunately, I dont think I will be able to trump that PC score tho. :D
