It's the same bios they sent you last time. The version 015.036 one. From the descriptors, it seems like it's for 2GB. It might be just the descriptor though. You have explained them exactly which GPU you have, right?

I tried to flash and the ATIFlash tool said "Failed".

Should I reflash de previous vBIOS? (Everything is working for now...)

Yeah they know I have the 1GB version :(

Maybe it's because of the file extension that ends with .S04 instead of .rom?

Try renaming the file so that it has a rom extension. Did they give you any instructions about how to flash? Does your card have a switch?

Yes the card does have a switch like the one in the picture. No they didn't give me any instructions.

I will try it right now.

    Edit: Same result.

It says "erasing bios..." then "programming new bios" and then "failed".

Close MSI Afterburner, HWInfo, and any other software which can monitor your graphics card.

    Everything is closed.

Maybe, but I think maybe this BIOS can have some solution? Since it's "new" :s

Sapphire send you wrong version because they have same vBIOS name for 1GB and 2GB version. You have card with 1GB Elpida EDW1032BBBG but they send you 2GB version for Elpida EDW2032BBBG.
This is correct vBIOS for your card with same name 113-221PROHE-S04 https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/131310/sapphire-hd7850-1024-121113

You have the BIOS switch to revert to if things go down the pan. Give it a try.

Thanks but I get the same error "failed" after the "programming BIOS" stage.

This software to flash vBIOS work on W10?

I tried that guide yesterday after this error but HP USB DISK doesn't work properly on W10 even in compatibility mode. So I downloaded Rufus and I created a freeDOS usb pen to boot and then I tried to execute the ATI flash utility but i couldn't.

Maybe I have to create some .bat files to execute in DOS, right?

The issue I have since some months ago is the same is on the video. Yesterday I tried this GPU on another PC and had no problems. Tried a GTX950 on my PC and had no problem too. Now I'm back with the HD7850 and zero flickering or others problems for now but I know the flickering will be back.

The second thing that happened to me (the picture on the first post) never happened again.

HP USB gives me an error when trying to format the usb pen and corrupts it. After that I used the windows disk management tool to reformat the Pen and created the FreeDOS pen using Rufus without any problem/error. Rufus always worked for me.

No. I will try to make some .bat files to execute in freeDOS in some minutes ;)
