AMD Driver DLLs Repository and Performance Survey

Good job keeping this updated!

This workaround helped me in Heroes of the Storm, with the dlls I found out that this bug...

...exists since Crimson 16.3. Copying the 16.2.1 DX11 dlls works as a workaround. Really happy this dll copying thing can still work.

 

Is there a way to force OpenGL 4.5 dll to run with no man's sky on my 290x?
so far with latest amd driver im still on OpenGL 4.4

 

With Windows 10 and 16.8.2 it plays fine on a 280x. It's 4.4 reported here too, although all the features up to 4.5 are in.

 

win 10 and it plays horrible, drops to 20 fps all the time

 

Is this why it crashes randomly on my 290x? It plays quite nice with no stutters or freezes but then crashes straight away.

Also why dont we have a No Mans Sky thread?

 

It could be, amd cpus are not supported for the most part in this game so far, so if u have one it could be it.
my game runs, but stutters like a bitch and drops fps everytime i turn my camera.

All files from unpacked folders was copied into WIn32 and SysWOW64 in Windows Safe Mode.

I saw CSGO listed in the survey. Does it really work? I remember 15.5 cata working way better than current crimson (still have a HD6850). If so, does it trigger VAC?

I can't vouch for your account, but I don't believe it would trigger VAC. If I were you, I would try it, just don't blame me if anything goes wrong

 

Should Radeon Settings: Host Application(cnext.exe) be killed in order for the dlls to work? Or can I leave it running

It will allow you to set 2d and 3d clocks. For 2d set the core to around 450 and memmory to around 1200. This fixed it for me.

By the way this dll think works with incredible results. Latest Mantle driver gives shadows corruption on bf4. Other versions fix it on 2 of my pc's so far.

 

The 16.8.3 DLL are up.

 

16.9.1 DLL are up. Going to check if they are indeed WDDM 2.1.

I need to overwrite those Sept.9 ones, still can't Install this one :bang:
Tried in Device manager also, not tried DDU as of yet, but i will hold on to next one 16.9.2 will be soon IMO
