Would be quite of a dick move to remove all of these cards at once.

CUVID is deprecated ages ago, there are no updates to it and there won't be, ever. Your card's VP h/w is limited to decoding MPEG1-4 and 1080p H.264 as seen on Blu-rays, chances are that if you're trying something else - it won't work. DXVA2 should work though and the quality will hardly be any different - at least I don't notice much difference between CUVID and DXVA2 options of LAV Video. Here, let me know which one is better quality in your opinion: http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/181516

7 and 9 series too, they are old technology running ancient 28nm and peasant architecture with low vram and without proper async shaders technology.

  8. I've a little curiosity, on geforce download drivers page, there's the choice to select between Windows 10 64 and Windows 10 Anniversary Update 64....any difference?

    Tnx ;)

no issue using MadVR with CUVID or even DXVA2 so i suggest try to update your MPC-HC or LAVFilters

i always using the latest nightly for LAVFilters & MPC-HC

Same. Main player is Zoom Player with MadVR.
Also tried three different players, through different decoders, and all output on screen is blocky/transparent.
(On 980Ti - only happens with this driver)

Noticed some crazy drops in FPS with this set, drops like 40 fps every say 10 seconds....**** that.

Always use DDU, SSD, use Ccleaner pretty much constantly.

Seems like nVidia just doesnt care about 7xx series.

Seeing this in Fallout 4 loading screens (only game tested so far), but don't notice them while playing the game itself. Also running a 1070, EVGA OC though. Will report back if i notice it in other games. Doesn't seem to affect performance so far...

edit: yea, had crashes in FO4 after seeing some artifacts while using my Pip-Boy and while sleeping. Strange since those are the moments where GPU usage is lowest. Guessing is has to do with the power issues that some are reporting. Was gonna try to run it without an OC, but decided to rollback until a hotfix/new driver gets released.

Errr..there is no point in using K-lite if he has LAV and madvr already installed with MPC-HC.

~5% performance loss and crashing. Very nice. The usual treatment of last generation cards from nVidia.

Reverted drivers and suddenly everything is running smoother, with an obvious improvement in minimum frames, and no more crashes, what a twist. /MNightShamalamaDingDong
