    Recommended usage:
-The tool can be used in Normal mode but for absolute stability when using DDU, Safemode is always the best.
-Make a backup or a system restore (but it should normally be pretty safe).
-It is best to exclude the DDU folder completely from any security software to avoid issues.

Kaspersky Is detecting latest version as a trojan. The previous version ran fine. Any reason behind this?

Most DDU version cause this. If I remember correctly it's just that Kaspersky doesn't like DDU behavior.

I guess you should try to send the sample to Kaspersky so they white-list it if it bug you.

. Net error or a directx file you changed / modified or corrupted

The reason the older DDU work is because it was using Winform and required v2+

Recent DDU version now use WPF (hardware accelerated) and require .Net 3.x+

Installed the latest net framework 4.6.2 and still unable to start. I tried to replace my d3d9.dll with a fresh one but I couldn't delete my old one. Any other way to repair my DirectX files?

Did you tried to download and (re)install DX via full DX installer?
    Here it is.

    edit
Just to be sure also run: sfc /scannow ...via CMD as Admin.

You could try to upgrade to Win 10 aniversary update. According to your d3d9 file info, it seem you are still on november.

Tried it, but not working as well.

I have all net framework and visuak c++ installed

Yeah I still haven't updated to W10 anniversary. Will try that and let you know. It seems like my entire DX9 library is broken, I tried to play one of my older games using DX9 and it just randomly crashed every time.

EDIT: Finally found the issue. My DX9 library is working fine as I tried to run another game and it worked fine. I closed my MSI Afterburner and Opened the latest DDU and it worked. Next I tried to open DDU with another monitoring software (EVGA Precision) and it crashed as well. Thank you for all the help people!

    @wagnard

i'm having an issue with this latest DDU version. after uninstalling nvidia driver and running DDU in safe mode, as soon as PC restarts windows update starts cheching for new updates and it finds nvidia driver update 369.09 that wants to install over latest one.

i assue something is broken with DDU preventing windows to check for new nvidia driver update. i didn't have this issue with version 16.x.x.x.x.

Everything is normal, DDU only disable driver update when it detect a new hardware, it never and can't block windows update itself from looking for drivers

I dont know what people are complain about, cause I have never had W10 install any driver other then drivers that came with first bootup install, and Win10 certian dont try to install drivers for anything later on or even after I use DDU to install the new gpu drivers

In year plus i been using Win10 and 6 diffrent reinstalls on my PC Windows has never ninja changed any of gpu/soundcard/nic drivers.

^^ most likely user issue.. W10 is the most stable OS compare to W3.1x, 98, XP, 7, 8.x etc.
