Is there a source on any of that?
And better preemption support in the driver model wouldn't make any difference, as Nvidia is still delivering DMA level preemption.

This maybe dumb question, but what is trick to get drivers over WU.
When I upgraded to Win10 (1511) from Win7 at 6/10/16 it down graded my driver to 358.91 (I was on 360.xx) and now after 1607 it still never got any drivers over WU.
I thought it was big problem as that is all I saw complaints about .
I waited to see how long and drivers never show, which is actually good but just curious whats going on.
I even have in control panel/system/hardware tab for it to update HW (I did have this disabled in WIn7.
I will probably move to next big version, as all my games are old and work great now (BF4, FC3/4)

It fails with both installer and device manager.

Maybe i'm retarded, but after installing 369.09 i can't seem to find any of the .dlls (needed to tamper with hbao+ settings) in their usual places.

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\nvd3dum.dll
    or
    C:\Windows\System32\nvd3dumx.dll

yet i see them in the .cab file in their packed version.
    Am i missing something?

(i have search indexer disabled since forever, the only time i actually needed it...)

just installed it, all good. Clearly problem on your side. Tried DDU?

    Try DDU in safe mode.

If nothing helps go for clean Win 10 install.

With 369.05 ARMAIII refused to launch

    "Cannot create Dx11 device
    Error DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED"

but this driver seems to have fixed that. So far so good. Curious how exactly we benefit from WDDM 2.1

If you are having problems installing the drivers. What Windows build are you on? I know for a fact Windows 10 build 10240 will have problems installing Nvidia drivers. But with Build 10586.494 it install the Nvidia drivers just fine.

What happen is if you are on Windows 10 build 10240 and when you install Nvidia drivers. It will say no video card detected.

Apparently these drivers don't include a PhysX driver.

Thanks Orbmu2k for the fix.

Not like it's a bad thing but just curious, how you guys ninja WU drivers outside of WU?

Just copy the PhysX folder from another extracted driver into the folder you extracted the driver from and run the installer. It should detect the Physx. Or you can just download the latest standalone PhysX package and install that on top.

How about a source for your 'well known problem' besides your post?

One more time. GPUMMU addressing goes with 64 kb and 4 kb. It somehow cause crash and memory problems(memory leak). Now MS did a workaround , tested with nvidia. From now on nvidia , doesn't suffer with these kind of problems, at least we hope it is fully fixed now.

Work fine with amd from the the start .
