Seen a lot of GTA V images now but those are about as realistic as I've ever seen the game looking, impressive how fast the modding community have worked with the game.
(And then it turns out it's not modded at all and I'm just blind, heh.)

GTA IV mods attempted this as well on several occasions but in comparison they looked pretty "flat" for lack of better word to describe it.

Thanks for the compliment, it's just a enb/reshade combo I've been working on. Those pictures are also thanks to the VisualV mod team, they are doing some amazing work. I think GTAV still needs a bit of work to make everything look realistic, as there is only so much ReShade can do and you usually end up sacrificing one thing for another. I wish Boris would continue working on ENB for GTAV, there's so much stuff I'd like to be able to tweak.

Yeah ENB has the advantage there being entirely customized for whatever game Boris gets interested in meaning you have several advantages over a post-process effect via ReShade although those are really good too and as it's intended as a sort of generic injector for everything (D3D12 and Vulkan excluded, for the moment.) it can't really have game specific additions whereas ENB can go a bit "deeper" or how to say such as seen with Skyrim with it's updated subsurface scatter skin effect and later on improvements to AO, shadows and even the water effects and sky lighting. :)

In comparison ENB for GTA V and also Fallout 4 are have a bit fewer features at the moment if I'm not entirely out of loop on ENB's development for various games but perhaps Boris will update them further later on if he is still interested by that time.

    EDIT: Fallout 4

[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] <- Kinda boring shot but I'm just so intrigued with why this panel texture is so detailed compared to most other default textures in the game, granted it's only used a few times in the vaults you do visit but it's detailed enough for text.

Found a easier way to toggle the ENB post-process effect via it's in-game GUI. :)

First shot uses one weather mod with the paint effect on and then the second shot is with the effect off, third and fourth is a comparison though I switched to a different weather mod since the other one made things a little bit too washed out and the remaining images after that are with the ENB paint effect disabled.
