Nothing beats GS7 Edge, i have this phone and i really don't see anything ticking it, it sucks in gaming though because samsung messed up something, but if u fine with that then pick the edge model, or the regular S7.

HTC 10 is pretty solid as well, One+3 seems to be fine too.

 

Or maibe I wait for next Nexus around the corner

I'm looking for good DAC in phone and super fast charging at least 60% in 30min
If galaxy s7 was that fast charging I was exchange for him
Because my Nexus can't drive small headphones can't hear nothing in bus but it can drive athm50 headphones OK idk what defect with the DAC was same on lg g4 was good phone

 

G4 had one of the worst DAC ever made, S6 runs miles ahead of it, V10 had amazing DAC.

S7 Exynos version have an excellent DAC, especially if u using poweramp 3 alpha 7 or higher, you might wanna check HTC though.

 

Fair warning: You'll be waiting until mid-late November or possibly longer if they sell out quick.

Agree this DAC is something else.
I have it in Alpha and wow the sound is so amazing, even at max volume no distortion and with excellent bass (bass boost feature). Easily wins against higher quality $$$ sony walkman and sony imo was always known for great sound and bass, at least more expensive mp3 players or old cassette type.


Im using these oldschool design earbuds mdr-e931 and I must say Im very impressed.

 

Yep stock music player have adapt sound which could help further. Also rooting device and installing viper4android could make it better. As of now GS7E is the best phone.
