I tried a few for OW when it was in beta, could never get any to work.
It's listed in the OP (1st post) which files to edit.
(You need the user mode driver dll for DXGI, and copy it to the same directory as the game .exe. Then modify that copy not the original.)

Also, if you have a 970, is your performance so bad even without AO?

QHD is very taxing for a 970, and this game uses tons of VRAM, basically I see a constant 4043MB of VRAM used all time with some drops to 3900MB. And don't forget all the assets, I have nearly 1000 actually and growing, and custom content is usually more detailed/heavy than the vanilla ones.

I will look in editing the file later, thank you for the information. =)

Doesn't seem like anyone has done so. GeDoSaTo I think has AO that works without the bleeding though. That's something.

Feel free to do some HBAO+ profile testing on your own.
The solution won't find itself ;)

Anyone can say what each number in the bit controls?

I need to tweak the flag for Cities Skylines. It "blinks" sometimes, and simple vanish in a especific zoom and angle level.

    Thank you.

No unfortunately not. The only thing that should affect that are the insertion logic bits. (For DX10/11 that is)And the descriptions in the OP are the only thing we have available to go on.

Just gotta play around. I'd mess with the insertion stuff first.

A solution might be to find another flag that is too strong and bleeds, and then look at that flag's insertion bits and copy the values to the current flag. (Remember you have to enter the values manually in a hex editor)

  9. I'm going to tackle the hex-edit insertion HBAO+ bits for Just Cause 2 since it has not been solved yet and I still enjoy playing it.

That's a shame, might be fixed with hex editing. Sorry for the inconvenience. Always seems to be a problem or another.
    I'll add a bleeding note.

I'm assuming you are also using the WSFix? Does it happen without WSFix too?

Does anyone have good set of bits for the english Blade & Soul? I've been typing in all the Unreal Engine 3 bits I can find, and they all work … badly. :-|

At the moment, I'm using 0x0000002F, with the "setting" turned down to Performance, but that gives me light horizontal lines in shadows, instead of dark lines on brighter parts of the screen …

    Code:
    B&S HBAO
    17 strobes
    5
    3
    20 lines
    24 lines
    31 strobs
    19 strobs
    2f lines stong
    2d strobs
    23 doesn't work?
    30 doesn't work?
21 lines in the shade; real weak

This is only the second time I've tried this, and can't always see what happening on-screen: Half the time, I look at the front bus/ memory controller load on Afterburner to see if HBAO is running …

[edit, later]I think I'll vote for 23/ Quality as the best of a bad lot …

yeah I'm using the WSFix, didn't occur to me to make a save for those parts for testing :(, I'll test it out some more if I see the bleeding popping up again because I've also been downsampling and not sure if that affects it.

yea the bleeding is really weird with Max Payne 2, it bleeds through almost everything including light, hud, and steam overlay, feels like I'm doing something wrong, tried without the wsfix and it was the same.

Try a few different resolutions, with different aspect ratios including a 4:3 one.

If nothing can be resolved. Might just have to remove it entirely unless you want to fiddle with Hex Editing driver DLLs, which might be able to fix the problem.

You've put no AO example under 37 link :wanker:

Anyway, looks pretty subtle, did you tried splicing them together?

    Also, update for

    Black Mesa

2C bleeds through fog, 14 works perfectly

    No AO
    2C
    14
