You can get some Benchmarks for The Witcher 3 in different resolutions
with and without sli
with and without OC
with and withou Hairwork

 

You guys should use an overclock 6700k for the test instead. It currently has the highest IPC and many games still don't really utilize the additional cores.

As shown here by Eurogamer. The 6700k was faster than the 5960X in games when both were at stock and overclocked.

Both 1070 and 1080 are not so impressive on ultra and extreme compared to my 980ti sli setup which begs the question...how did the 1070 score so high on default firestrike....26k

impact of ROPs comes into play more the higher the resolution gets.

96 (980Ti) vs 64 (1080/1070)

thats the same reason why the RX480 (32 ROPs) doesnt scale as good as nano (64 ROPs) when going up in resolution.
