We test the new Samsung 750 EVOÂ*500GB model introduced last week. This SATA3 SSD is holding up really well in terms of competitive performance andÂ*should be a notch more price-competitive with it's... Review: Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD
I officially have zero interest in any new SSDrive, until they hit 2TB... Which is just a year away. Prices are going to be ridiculously low REALLY soon. So buying anytime in the next 6 months is just bad economics - unless you're investing in a new PC/laptop that obviously needs a new C: drive.
Samsung make the best SSD's IMO, currently have 2 750 Pro's in raid and the speed is ridiculous and I've never had an issue with either drive, I've also had OCZ and Crucial drives and both displayed faults over time, probably just unlucky but these days I stick with Sammy.
Nice drive but the price is too close to the 850... Important question: what´s the big difference between the Evo and the PRO drives??? Besides the price of course...
NAND Type (3D / Vertical NAND), triple-core controller (over dual), 10 years warranty and much higher guaranteed TB written values.
there is no 750 Pro model from samsung. and as long as the price of the 750s is higher than the 850s, it makes not much sense to buy the 750s. -andy-
