It does look awesome. Only thing, for now, that I didnt like is the Battlefront UI. Why put the score on top middle. Reset it back to next to the map, out of my way!
I really liked it. Onyl thing that really annoyed was that woman voice over saying we lost this point or this happened. Sounded too futuristic. Apart from that it looked very nice.
It's so good ^^. And i'm so glad younger generation will have a similar gaming experience than the one i had as a teenager discovering BF1942.
Yeah me too :bananas: Besides console (1943) and Vietnam I didn't miss the others Ah thanks for linking, just found that '48 minutes' gameplay video, although this is better (can skip to the interesting parts anyway). So... anybody knows what preorder bonuses there are, including the collector's edition? (Not the soldier statue, but what's inside that pidgeon's thing).
Because they are trying to expand their market base and reach new players. Yes, they have the MP fans that will always buy their titles. But, by adding a campaign they are attempting to grow that marketbase. Which is good. There's no reason DICE can't make a game that delivers on both fronts. A great campaign, and good MP. But, their campaigns so far have been all style over substance. Great visuals, overly scripted moments... and tedious, boring gameplay with forgettable stories. And yes, there are far, FAR more gamers that are interested in the campaign only then most people realize.
I enjoy the SP for the set pieces and they always use them to show what frostbyte can really do. I feel WW1 has way more potential for interesting people and story's.
Seems Dice got a nice upgrade from Nvidia to test the game https://twitter.com/repi/status/742343387538460672?lang=en
Did anyone feel like the videos were a bit...glitchy at times? I could feel like frame rates were dropping a lot...and some strange glitches, like the blades on the big blimp...they were static, not really blades moving... there were some videos uploaded by youtubers that took recording onto their own one that looked a lot smoother. the celebrity stuff..is a joke..they dont need them to sell this game. thats money they could have spend else where. and i dont think snoop controller was him even playing..the guy looked high...well he was smoking -_-
Twitches quailty is a joke tbh for anything detailed and moving fast it just craps out, youtubes a bit better at streaming but not amazing. The in game glitches are mainly caused by it been viewed in spectator mode which can mess with the lods, im assuming because the viewpoint is so erratic, its the same in bf4 The youtube footage was captured in fps mode direct feed.
I saw some texture & distance detail popin isssues when ppl were jumping through windows. Reminded me of the megatexture issues with iD's shooters.
Checked out levelcap's 40 minute gameplay video and I must say I genuinely like what I'm seeing. Fantastic visuals and guns/vehicles look pretty damn authentic. The way they could make this more awesome is to disable crosshair for hipfire and just have aiming down sights/optics. And also, real destruction seems to be back, he ran with the tank trough houses, trees etc. That's very promising, if they keep it up.
This is a must buy for anyone who likes FPS shooters or action games. I like that more Team/Squad based this will be and not the lone wolf style. BF 3 and 4 had that but to me was implemented well. Looks better now. The gameplay looks awesome but we haven't even seen the horse play yet. Still more stuff for Dice to show that they haven't done yet. I'm rdy for this game and will glady buy it n the dlc. Just looks so amazing.
I want to see how the armored train scenarios work. Too bad they won't give discounts for people who bought Battlefront.
With all the celebrities at the EA Play event..... are they going to be playing characters in the singleplayer for Battlefield 1?
