Great 4K Performance Hi! Titan X SLI User here. I just returned to Witcher 3 with the new DLC and was quite happy how well it performs in 4K/Ultra now. When I first played through the game (couple months after release) I had to OC like crazy and still had frame drops below 60 and now it runs smooth as butter at just 1280 MHz per card. Nice! Still very happy with my Titan X SLI setup. GTA V was also fabulous in 4K. 980ti or Titan X owners can easily wait for 1080ti or the next Titan.
Fixed it: Jesus, that was a tough fight. Anyway, all I had to do was reload from a few minutes earlier before I got to that hill and "spawned" the monsters from a fresh, mod-free, state. Everything works now.
Honestly, I haven't had a chance, just started the DLC last night. And this is the first quest I've done in B&W and had this issue which I've just resolved, so I'm still just getting an idea of the landscape. I'll almost surely get some better ambient lighting going. Though I gotta say, I love the night sky they've used for this area. Looks pretty decent @ sunset:

I had it too, managed to kill one then the other flew off wounded. Landed the other side and I could not hit it with anything. I went to some other area for a while then went back, was able to kill the last one but the nest still says to destroy even though I did.
Trying to play this game on a ww2 card all max settings @ 1080p without hairworks between 19 en 28 fps lol. Cards cant come soon enough.
Did you read how I solved it in my game? Simply reloaded a save well away from that area, so the monsters have to 're-spawn' into the game without any mod issues affecting it. A WWII-era graphics card? Is it water cooled?
AMD Fuhrer X? No that doesn't quite work, I suppose if it was good with Furmark though one could call it the AMD Furry. (Though admittedly that sounds more like some designer put some fur tufts on the cooling shroud for aesthetics reasons.) Anyway back to Witcher 3 and Geralt screwing around in Touissant, literally. (Well I don't know, haven't progressed far enough yet and the queen seems more taken with dandeloin and the princess has a favorite knight too..at least Geralt isn't getting royally screwed..)
I'm waiting for the patch to continue... Not doing any new quests. I've scouted all the borders around the entire map just to see how much area there is. My whole Saturday was just running through the wilderness, through the fields of green, with that music playing...
I've finished the game a few days ago only issue I had is the Home Sweet Home quest, i've upgraded all of Corvo Blanco but it says return in 2 days for upgrades to complete, I've waited over a week and it's still not upgraded so guess it's bugged will just wait for a patch to fix it. got a wicked sword from the lady of the lake tho took it to the Runewright and added some sockets
and... I think my game is broken started playing this morning and getting repeated CTDs with no apparent error besides the generic "witcher 3 has stopped working" however, seems it only happens while in Novigrad... just walk around a bit.. and 5 mins later.. crash!! ugh
done that already (have steam version) I'm thinking maybe one of my save files is corrupted.. or something.. **** if I know.. I wish I could check in event viewer as to the reason as to the crash..
