I know, 380 is a 285 with more Vram. Also, i mention your graphics score in firestrikeX, not overall. You got a 4,019.

You need to enable it for each game, by selecting "AFR Compatible" under the CrossFire mode tab. It does the exact same thing. AMD added this option a couple of months ago.

A lot of people experience it... I read on steam forums , it;s like the game is running 60 fps.. and when you make a reload sudenly you get 5 fps.
Restart the game and it recovers... sometimes. It's like without to change any settings 9 from 10 starts of the game the bug appear , 1 time did not appear.
Is very strange.. probably is the game.
In my case I manage to trick the bug... in order to play some hours.. but now appear every time... and the game is unplayble. Tried everything.

Started happening a day after I installed 16.5.2. I just realised now that this driver only was meant to fix issues with videos :(

Have you tried dragging the 16.5.1 DLL into the Firefox executable folder?

Has anyone heard anything concerning the drivers not installing for some of us? I filled a bug report with AMD and tried contacting many of them on Twitter. I don't expect this is the result of a giant bug, most likely someone made a small mistake somewhere.

R9 390 is pretty popular gpu and for sure it should be easily installable within regular driver installation. Have you ever used DDU on your current windows install? Sometimes tools like this can mess things up and cause drivers to have problems with install.

I face the same problem, it is differently an installer bug. Will just skip this one and wait for next release!

I had used DDU before trying to install this one, and an old installation of DDU had indeed caused problems, but I recently upgraded to a different version of W10 which fixed those issues and basically brought my PC back to.

Even then, 16.6.1 won't install. It seems as if someone at AMD screwed something in the installer and it doesn't work for everyone. It's probably an easy fix, but gotta make sure they're made aware of the issue.

IMO DDU caused your problem and only OS reinstall can fix it. Use DDU wisely, only if there is some special need, not more. Anyway, do whatever you want, if you will keep your OS in current state then let's see if next version of drivers will install without issues or will not.

If you try to install an old driver version that you know it worked before, does it still work now?
If its working , then its definitely not a DDU issue.

Thanks, I was able to find 2 problems.

1- You already had some permission issues (and or) a read-only file (atiacm64.dll) on "C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext" that prevented the removal of this folder.
2- DDU tried to fix them but it failed and probably broke even more the permission of that folder/file. (My problem ;p )

Thanks to your log, I'll should be able to fix this in no time.

You have installed Firefox x64 or x86?

Firefox x64 cause more problems and its unstable sometimes.
x86 version its the best. :)
