Those who bought 980ti for 400€ this days must be happy people. Thats definitely worth it. I expect even 1070 to be more expensive than that.
hey dude, like uhh could you take a look at my bios for my gigabyte 980 ti xtreme gaming card? (not g1 the new edition) https://mega.nz/#!6JlxWYIJ http://www.3dmark.com/fs/8414644 - fsu http://www.3dmark.com/fs/8025267 - fs http://www.3dmark.com/fs/8418265 - fse
I'll be honest and say I was tempted. But then again, I saw the overclock differences between a non-stock Ti and 1080 and thought, probably not worth the outlay. I'll have similar temptations depending on how AIB cards review though! ----- I converted my reference 980 Ti's with EVGA's Hybrid kit - temperatures at load are 45 max. I stupidly didn't run them OC'd however until recently. Currently running a modded Bios (which is the EVGA Hybrid bios) - anyone have any pointers for overclocking into the 1400's? I tried once, wasn't stable with what I did! - perhaps a Bios to go off? (The Boost clock table confuses me though, always different to everyone else's!) EDIT: Whoops, noticed XenthorX's posts above after I replied... Any chance I could sneak a look at your stable bios? I'm still learning, heavily!
Can share my bios if you wish. I would love to see what that Xtreme can do! Stock with only TDP increased since our cards go up to 1.243v at stock(throught added voltage in OC software). Edit: Oh I forgot two things. Default memory now is 3750MHz(7500 eff.) and I applied a bit more aggressive fan curve. Well not exactly "stock" but what I meant I didn't alter anything(like boost tables/curves/voltage etc) besides the TDP which was the thing holding these beasts back. Edit 2: lol! You beat my graphics score by 400+ points using lower-ish clocks! Could it be the newer drivers? 364.51 vs the 361.43 I used? It seems I must re-run the bench and check this.
used 980Ti prices are going back up here, yesterday morning there were lots of offers around 450~ euro. Now the lowest is 470 why am i being asked for a key to decrypt your file on mega ?
That's some really nice score! What is your overclock? Did you disable Boost ? this 10360 graphic extreme score is so nice, you already have a 1080 it seems. Hopefuly you've 2x8pins connectors so, lot's of possibilities. I only have 6+8pins. Let me check this and get back to you. Edit: you need to share the mega link with key in it for us to download ;D
Any pointers for increasing clocks on a modded bios? (Using a modded Hybrid bios atm, but only using the default "Factory OC" boost!)
Currently using this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6iN_QGUK2aAUlVDWUV5c1hlNTQ/view?usp=sharing Nothing fancy and doesn't stress the card. Attempts at taking it further haven't resulted in stability
On the brink of snagging up a 980ti (Zotac Amp!) for £300, fingers crossed the guy let's it go. Anyone has experience with it?
Zotac Amp Mine overclocks very well (1455) stock voltage, and the max temp that I have seen is 65c, so intend to keep it for a while yet
My card overclocks very badly beyond the factory overclock (1253core/1355boost. Or i'm doing something terrible wrong. It has an asic quality of 81.1. and idle temp is 60c
ASIC quality is relatively high, but that doesn't mean you can OC higher, just that you need a lower voltage for a given OC. I find it hard to believe it doesn't get to 1450. Max out the power limit in afterburner, apply +50mhz, run this http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/final-fantasy-xiv-heavensward-benchmark-download.html at 4k (use DSR) at max settings. If it doesn't crash it's stable. Set your fan speed to something high but not insane (70%?)
Allright, i think i managed to get my card stable at 1525Mhz on 1.212V but only in single application. Tried several time to play with Far Cry 4 maxed out 1440p on a screen and Star Wars 7 1080p on another, but it crashed after 5/10min. Meanwhile, Far Cry only seems stable.
Just installed my 980ti and tried Doom, nice one, averaging 80fps I'd say, drops to 70s, jumping up to over 100fps. This is all maxed at 1440p. The card ran at 83C and fans span up to 70% or something. Hotter and louder than my 970 for sure. But the performance is insane. Do you guys cap your fps? Or just let the card run max fps, meaning higher temps and noise levels?
What is the ASIC and Cooling of your card? I tweaked your BIOS based on my retail BIOS card also 6+8pins, might give you a little boost, it's a slight bonus, nothing hardcore here. Your Boost Table is quite different than mine also: https://mega.nz/#!NtUzERzI!vV5Vo-5yp9pleAoBbLmnaYwEhO7WLbRVVDFaPnJJjeo
