MSIÂ debuts the world's first GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card. The new GeForce GTX 1080 will feature NVIDIA's latest GPU architecture codenamed Pascal boasting a 16nm FinFET fabrication process.... MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition Graphics Card
Will msi release a "super duper" edition custom cooler soon? It would go well next to the "Killer" Ethernet adapter. own all your enemies with the" Super MSI gtx 1080 duper koolr"
I'm honestly putting water on it asap so I don't care what shroud is on it so I could technically save $100 to go towards water cooling. However I'm impatient and apparently only reference models or "founders edition" will be available on the may 27th idk when the aftermarket cards will release so I'm just going to jump the gun get the reference and save up for water cooling.
"Epic" would have been the Lightning series. Since MSI was forced to do away with that, all we have to look forward to now is "pretty good". Which is the Gaming line.
Hey guys I just ate a burger and I'm about to go to the bathroom. Line up guys time it's to buy the Experienced Edition™ burger that will be the result, only for $100 USD more than the original price. Great formula nVidia have there. Take a blatantly inferior product that no one should want, give it a title, and sell it for a hundred bucks more than the proper item. There's no one here who hasn't paid extra to avoid reference cards at one point or another.
How come, did they announce that they gave up on the series(and mpower for mobos, same color scheme)? I still have my old GTX 680 Lightning, and boy, I will keep this card, even to just put it on a wall one day. It's so freaking huge and beautiful, it's a shame that the actual GPU was not worthy of such engineering craftsmanship. Either way, the Gaming line fits my rig better, color scheme wise, since my Rampage V is all black and red (and ASUS abandoned that color scheme for ROG...), same with case, fans etc., but yeah, I would seriously give the Lighting a thought as well, if they will release one.
the pay more edition keep on coming "love what you did there. another one just poped up on asus site :cops:
