Edge browser starts flickering for me, that's the only problem I notice with this release

Dxtory works in DX12 games, you'll be able to see your fps with that.

That's strange, I'm not having any issues with madVR.

I'm using MPC x64 + MadVR + SVP 4 Pro (+ ffdShow x64) + External LAV Filters (Set to use Intel Quicksync instead of DXVA2-Copyback).

I've been using Intel Quicksync for a while as it solved a few problems for me when watching 4K content with SVP.

There is a momentary screen flicker while running MadVR+Potplayer in Fullscreen. It happens randomly, and wasn't present in the older AMD Catalyst or the initial release of the Crimson drivers.

What I did was copying the DLL from the last WHQL release in the same folder as MadVR, MPC-HC and Kodi executables. I also set MadVR to use DX11 for presentation and I disabled exclusive full screen mode. Now it's ok.

I'm using the latest version of the LAV filters, and the latest stable MPCHC. It's not a MPCHC issue, I get the same problems with MadVR in Kodi. The problem is the driver/MadVR combo. I'm using DXVA2 native in the LAV filter configuration, not in MadVR.

You didn't answer my question regarding Raptr.
madVR works fine here, regardless of D3D9 or 11, FSE or windowed, MPC HC final or nightly, external or internal LAV filters.

No problems here with this driver in general, apart from stutter in Tomb Raider DX12 which exists since 16.4.2.

    This mirrors my experiences. :(

Will try your workaround. Works! Thanks.

It might be an issue with GCN 1.0 then.

    Nice to know!

Sure, that's why also Fury owners complained...

Well, I didn't notice then. There are people with Hawaii cards who say that it's everything ok too.

Recalled that wrong. Now, will you tell if disabling/uninstalling Raptr makes any difference?
You ignore that question with some efforts, it seems.

Overclocking (1075e/1575m) via overdrive causes all games to crash/cause BSOD.

Also, after overclocking, launching Gaming tab causes Radeon settings to crash.

Submitted a report for this issue.

MadVR is still crashing for me, closed raptr and plays.tv. I tried using MPC-BE as opposed to MPC-HC, I also returned my card's clocks to default, trying all the different rendering methods within MadVR's settings, just not having any joy at all :(

I installed 16.5.2 too, I haven't had any severe issues with madVR + MPC-HC. I've had some crashes when playback ends, which aren't a big deal for me, I just restart MPC-HC if I plan on watching something else. Other than that it's been working the same as before for me.

    I'm running W10 x64 with 32b MPC-HC with external LAV Filters.

tried new hdmi cable and everything else just wasted time and money, the problem still persist and I'm not the only case, now I'm sure it's a driver bug.... since 16.2.1 works ok!!

    Try the DLL injection.

Anyone else getting an annoying flicker at the desktop with these drivers?

Might run driver cleaner and reinstall.
