Just heads up to everyone on this thread thats helping me, I did check another forum and one person did a downgrade on a firmware then do the asus flashback thingy and it worked for him, I also tried that method and again sadly, it don't work...

Well, its getting late over here, you guys can post other suggestions, in the mean time, I might go back to an older driver rst revision and see if it clears things up, like I said, this has never happened before.

I'll check more posts on this thread later

Once again, Thanks for all your help and will check back later...

I have SSD`s in Raid 0 too, and when i install Intel chipset drivers Read speeds go down about 300mbs and writes speeds about 150mbs, testing in Crystalmark.

The only way it goes back to normal, to me at least, was a fresh install of the OS.

Edit: and of course, no chipset drivers installed.

Pretty sure drive has to be formatted as FAT32 not exfat.

All i can tell you is to try different USB drives(brands) as some work and some dont.

My pny with the ISO in the link above would not work, but my crucial stick did.

Ok, I am using another card reader and it seems to power up when I connect the usb in the port but no bios is being transmitted...

The port for the usb flashback is the one right underneath the bios button correct?

And no, there no no green port, only black and blue.

No thats not the correct port.

The IO Shield should has a green label for the correct port.

The one i use is above the SPDIF on this image.

Ok I used the correct port this time with my memory card reader, soon as I push and hold the bios button, the memory card is trying to read, after some seconds or so, blue color on the bios button stays still as usual, and I have tried in all formats:

NTFS(As the site says its ok to use)
    FAT
    FAT32
    ExFat

    None of them works.

Just for kicks, plugged the sansa cruzer in there, won't even come on.

Prob just roll back my rst drivers and try like that other poster has said, without the chipset drivers.

Give that a try and see how it goes.

    One more quick question:

Can I do this x99A.CAP thingy in DOS mode??????

Something I haven't used in awhile besides VGA upgrades.

Respond soon, I'll check back later, thanks.

    UPDATE:

I tried using afudos and it didn't work due to bios is write protected, looked up some stuff and saying try changing it to afudos_e to bypass the write protection, that didn't work also.

    Anyways, thanks for your help.

I'll get it to work somehow, this is absolutely insane now.

going to roll back from the previous version of win 10 build along with old rst drivers and see how it goes, man this is nuts.

Did you try the first or 2nd link i posted? The 2nd one works 100%, as i said its just finicky about some USB sticks for whatever reason. Only fat32 is supported AFAIK.

Holy S#!T batman, Got it finally to work, Jeezus...

    I downloaded this:

    http://station-drivers.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=352&func=fileinfo&id=2107&lang=fr

and then ran crystal mark, all good now, now I just have to restart system.

Looks like no bios update is needed.

    UPDATE:

I restarted my pc, ran crystal mark once again, seems like everything is back to normal.

I will re-install the same win 10 x64 build and re-install this intel ME thingy again just to see if it will go smoothly again.

So far, everything looks alright now.

To update firmware you need to have the latest driver, looks like you found it.

    Thanks alot.

Wow, you got one supa fast 980ti there.

    I got my 970's, one @ 1600mhz, the other one like 1580'ish.

Memory, Can't get nowhere near 8000mhz, but still, 1600mhz is insane.

I wanted to see if I can get the power limit to go over 125% but probably not a good idea.

    Sorry for off topic.

And for the firmware intel me, thats an .exe file, thus only during windows, its not permanently installed on the mobo, more like a band-aid from what it seems.

No you installed a driver for the Management engine interface, i was trying to get you to update the firmware on it.

Plenty of guides out there to increase PT limit using maxwell bios tweaker.

OH, btw, I tried to use the latest Intel ME tools, the ones you uploaded was version 9.x, I tried using 11.x.

I tried in all 3 areas, Dos mode, non 64 FWUPdlcl and the 64 bit version, they all don't work.

It gives me something all written in red, something about unsupported,
    incompatible,etc,etc,etc.

I can't even check the actual firmware revision that I am using now, saying unsupported and etc, etc.

Oh well, I tried, it failed, tried for kicks within dos and that doesn't work.

    But anyways, thanks again.

Bad news, its doing it again, uninstall and reinstalled intel ME drivers, still.

Going to re-install win 10 again and see how it goes.

I was messing with the cpu strap, was testing something, probably what caused it.

    UPDATE:

Did a Fresh Re-install and this time I did not install the chipset drivers, same thing.

I also tried an older rst version, restart pc, same thing.

Also, what was the name of the crucial 16gb you used? I am looking into it, was it from the Gizmo! family?

When latest Intel RST drivers almost killed my Samsung HDDs (pretty nasty APM issue) I had enough and moved to Windows' software RAID0. It works just fine (not bootable but that's obviously fine in my case).

I'll try to install using windows build in raid drivers, instead of the one I got from station-drivers. com.

    I'll give heads up later.

Thats not gonna help. APM issue only affected a small number of mechanical drives.

If you could really update your bios(figure out a way) then youd be set i think. X99-A correct?

I can teamviewer your machine and update ME firmware for you as well.

The new RST driver is out, try it.

If he would use Windows raid he wouldn't need Intel RST drivers at all. Just plain AHCI mode would be enough (i.e. raid disabled from BIOS). If everything works just fine without Intel RAID then almost certainly everything will work great using Windows software raid.
