i am sure this is something which has been answered before and the tool(s) for it available online but somehow I am not able to find anything on it. Maybe I am not able to frame my query properly for Google but would really appreciate if someone can help. So here's the deal.. when i work on my pc, i set the nvidia profile to the following settings: res: 1024x768 @ 120Hz brightness: 12 contrast: 2 monitor mode: sRGB when i game, i have these settings: res: 1920x1080 @ 120Hz brightness: 57 contrast: 55 monitor mode: Movie when i watch a movie, i have these settings: res: 1920x1080 @ 120Hz brightness: 52 contrast: 47 monitor mode: Movie Now what i need is tool or a way to automate this with a mouse click. Please let me know if this is possible and what tool/shortcut I can use to get this. note: I understand Monitor mode might not be something which can be controlled cz it is built into my monitor's program. Its alright if that is something i would need to do manually but really need something for achieving the other settings. thanks in advance!
Hm. I don't think there is anything like that. Especially if you are doing it monitor side and it doesn't have profiles itself. If you were doing say calibration with LUTs, there might be something.
Have you tried this. I always use this one ColorMatchRGB.icc. http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?p=83 https://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=3680&fileID=3456
Thanks, but this doesn't seem to be what I am looking for. I did try this tool http://sourceforge.net/projects/monitorswitcher/ but it only changes the resolution on the fly and not the nvidia color profile. Seems like i ll just have to do it the old fashion way - manually
Couldn't find anything there other than just changing it manually like i wrote in my original post. BTW, i also change my volume settings - but i am not expecting anything which will automate that as well. Its just the color & resolution which i was hoping to switch on the fly.
Sounds like you want to create profiles on your monitor I don't think its possible only way I can think of would be switching inputs. On my Sammy monitor each input has different bunch of profiles I can switch between . e.g inputs: DVI, HDMI1, HDMI2, VGA DVI profiles: standard > internet > text> movies > custom
Actually thats part of what I am trying to accomplish. In addition to changing the monitor profile I also need to change the nvidia color profile and the screen resolution.
Maybe this thread over @ AHK is interesting for you: AutoHotkey & NVIDIA (NvAPI) I use it to switch my digital vibrance with a hotkey! and for changing Resolution (or refreshrate for myself) i use HRC (Hotkey Resolution changer)
thanks for the link but i think i ll just do it the old fashioned way. too complicated to do this using different tools.
