Yeah.
But, the Collector's Edition stealbook case looks a LOT better.

Don't know why they didn't go with the Revenant on the cover anyways.

 

Looks good and all, but I still can't help it and kind of dislike that vibrant color vibe everywhere. Dunno, its just to colorful to me.

E.g. that big demon with glowing green eyes, it would be better if it had more suitable less vibrant green or something like that..

 

That cover design is a joke.

Yes.
Because Doom has always had such a subtle, muted color scheme...

 

So what if it was like that, doesn't mean anything now..
And I expressed my pov, no need to bash it with your sarcastic tone. Thank you.

 

But I wanted to share it with everyone.

EDIT: Man, I was just joking.

I've seen a lot of comments about people saying it's too colorful. Yet, when Doom 3 came out people complained there wasn't any color... too drab.

Just seems people want Doom, but only if it's the nostalgia fueled dreams of what Doom is. Not what the developer wants to make.

I don't know man I'm an artist myself and I quite like the DOOM one..

Now this is cool.

 

^it's not a $120 cool. It's your a sucker cool. No PVC statue of 12 inches is worth $60 extra dollars.

 

Different things are worth more or less to different people.
I'd say that's worth 60 bucks instead of the Pipboy from the Fallout 4 CE being worth 60 bucks.

 

I have far more expensive statues.. and yes.. it's pretty cool.. and I'm not saying that as a "Sucker".. I actually think it's pretty cool..

 

For Doom, and the fact that the statue lights up... and rotates... I think it's pretty cool.
As I said, I think it's worth the cost more then FO4's Pipboy, or more so then the Arkham Knight statue I got.

And, yes, I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition.
I'm a massive Doom fan/whore. So... that statue is too good to pass up.

It won't support mods will it? i hope there is gonna be even more gore than Killing floor 2, the movement and animation looks a bit stiffed and forced, other than that it looks Brutal which is AWESOME!!!

Pre order is a snake pit though...

 

It may be just my imagination... but it's like they are trying to match the DOOM movie fps scene in game.. does that make sense? the part in the movie that goes fps shooter style, it's like they are trying to make it look like the movie...

I may be imagining things.. or maybe I had too much fizzy drink and played stalker too long and I should probably go to bed now.

No more pre-orders for me, since 2015 fiascos, no more. I love DooM, but something tells me this will be 60fps locked and have the same flatness that DooM3, I hope this will not be the case, but I urge you not to give the devs your money before they even delivered.
