Check the cable make/model, it might not be an approved DP1.2 cable, like the one supplied with my Benq XL2730Z ("E326508 awm style 20276," which gave flickers and even a stuck black screen the other night).

I've just ordered up an Accell UltraAV B142C-007B, cost just over £13.

    Nice results.

Can someone tell me why I only get 6794 with:

    i5 2500K @ 4.3
    7970 DD black edition
    16GB 1600mhz RAM

    Strange or normal?

Check to see if FireStrike is only running your card at Stock and not with your overclock. I found I was getting a low score as my card was running 880/1250 after upgrading to Windows 10. If you have 3DMark in Steam, try running the Beta update which has a new UI which by passes this problem. To get it, right click 3DMark and go to Properties, in Betas select "2016 UI and VRMark preview", enter the code HappyHolidays and download it.

You then have to install the FireStrike benchmark again manually from there.

Thanks, i got the paid version and am downloading it now! Let's hope this increases the results :D

Edit; after updating, opened 3dmark beta and screen goes black with only the mouse pointer which froze also :nerd:
    Going good! :D

Edit2; all working now. 6980 score now... Still pretty low :-(
Looks like the combined score is only 2000 something?

Low combined score too. I got 9681/8349/3651 (8188). You monitoring firestrike with msi ab? Hows the clocks/temps and gpu usage while running 3dmark?

Why would you drag that cpu like that? You sir are very very mean. Just why would you combine a 400 bucks cpu with a sub 180 bucks gpu? If it was a place holder till next gpus come out i can understand, but that would have been an r7 360 or gtx 750ti not an r9 380 :bang:

Yeah you are proberly right had no more money at the time been so that explains that and yes I'm waiting fot the release of the new line of AMD with the polaris chipset :)

Ps I normaly never buy a card over the 250 euro's to much power consuming and I do not want to play the newest games too much violance in them haha except for need for speed 2015-2016 that game I want !

If you bought 6600k + R9 390 you score would be like 40% higher.

Btw, is that stock R9 380?

Becouse 390 destroys 380 in everything. Difference is more or less 40% while your 6700k when it comes to gaming isnt showing any difference vs 6600k.
