It would be nice if AMD would fix USF IV-AE so I can play full screen. It's only been a year....

They are at least fixing the issues, but my goodness this is a "hotfix....?!" Looks more like a complete fix if you ask me.

There's a chance most of the "known issues" are also in the latest CCC release too :D

Crimson has from day one been giving me a MAJOR headache, i can't for the life of me turn off crossfire on games that is REQUIRED to turn off crossfire, and it is p***ing me off real bad!

Anyone else having this problem? i can change all settings of a game like antialiasing, the framerate limiter and such but i can't turn off crossfire, which is the most important part.

Ofc not, is not a bug: it's a "feature" but we don't know it yet, like the enforced (or disabled) CFX profiles.

    :D

What makes you think that those issues don't exist with what you have? :p

So can I finally use my two GPUs in Starwars Battlefront at all yet????

Having to disable Crossfire and have one GPU sitting there idle while the other is running 100% to try and maintain somewhere near 60fps is bloody annoying.

I don't know how anyone with AMD cards are able to run this game at greater than 1920x1200 with only a single GPU being able to be used.

Are they working on this or is it gone forever?

Do I install this hotfix over 16.0 or can i just install this only?

I'm a noob, I just got a used 5970 and am trying to figure out whats is the best installation.

So far installation is successful its running 16.1 installed over
15.7.1 without dotnef 4.5 (since framework 4.5 its already installed)
driver version 15 (had to reboot and reinstall driver)
    also
    I'm Using FFXIV Heavenward Benchmark
I had to override the >> [wait for vertical refresh] its stutters with DX11

I installed msi afterburner any tips for the 5970 will be awesome.

I want to use [[[[Clock Block]]] thinking that is will push my card for 50% to
80% when i use the 720p resolution. it seems to only hit 90% when i do 1080p.

Does anyone know how i could use radeon mod on a 4870x2?

Your saying that it doesn't use both GPUs when your in fullscreen mode?
I notice my 4870x2 and the just installed 5970 does that. it only used full load when im using full screen.

What is going on? if i do the update tells me again that "there is a new version"

This is my first post ;)

Yes Crimson was using both GPUs for Battlefront but the problem is Battlefront DOES NOT SUPPORT OR WORK RIGHT at all with dual AMD GPUs - the framerate goes to **** - from over 60fps to stutter along at about 25-30fps when Crossfire is enabled. I used to be able to DISABLE crossfire in the control panel but not any more. The option to disable crossfire has been REMOVED from the control panel for dual GPU cards so NO WAY to disable it.
It also completely ballsed up my HTPC with HDMI problems and other issues such as AMD 3D driver not working with Stereoscopic player any more.

I given up on Crimson completely and have uninstalled it altogether and reinstalled a previous version (about 14.4) on both machines which actually DO work with the HTPC setup and Star Wars Battlefront (I can actually disable Crossfire at least to get about 60fps with a single GPU).
